He smirked before he blew the remaining smoke onto my face. My eyes closed in response as the smell flooded my senses, it wasn't as bad as I thought, although the smoke had burned my throat a little.

"How about we test out those rumors for ourselves?"

I paused for what seemed like hours, and then suddenly I laughed. Dabi looked at me, his eyes saying 'are you sure your not on drugs?'.

"You..can't..be..serious." I said in between laughter. "Because if you were that would be even more funny. But also really sad." I said, serious this time.

Dabi's eyes remained on my figure. Before I could open my mouth to respond I felt shuffling, looking down I finally acknowledged the human laying next to me.

"Astraea...I completely forgot you were there don't scare me like that.", softly smacking her foot, which was now on my thigh, I whispered.

She mumbled something tiredly and finally maintained what I assumed to be a comfortable position for her.

Dabi coughed as if I had forgotten I was sitting just a few feet across from the most popular boy in school. Now that I'm saying it that makes us sound like elementary kids but I wasn't exaggerating!

I rolled my eyes. "You do know I can still see you there right? Soon I'm going to be taking myself and Astraea home so you should really get going."

He said nothing.

"...appreciate the offer though! Don't want to be interrupting your precious time." Trying to shuffle away from his gaze I looked over at the wall to the left of me. On the wall laid a clock that read the time 3:32 am.

"Oh you've got to be kidding me, how is this party still going at almost 4 am?"

This got a snicker out of Dabi. Wasn't what I wanted but somewhat expected.

We sat in silence again for a while, which seemed to be an occurring thing.

"Soooo....you gonna go or?", breaking the silence was awkward but sitting in silence with him staring at me was even more awkward.

"Are you?" Was all he said.

"...you're not leaving until I'm leaving are you."

"I'm not leaving until you're leaving." He repeated right after me.

"Oooookay well then...I'll be going. So if your gonna follow me out you might as well help." I said pointing over to my dead drunk roommate.

Dabi looked at me in disgust, and I knew exactly what he was thinking. Which made me smile.

"Yes she did in fact throw up on herself but it's nothing Mr.Popular can't handle right?"

"Oh please help the damsels in distress." I said falling back dramatically and putting a hand to my forehead to really tie it together.

Through one open eye I could see his jaw strain and I swore I saw a vein pop. Before I could finish with my grand finale, he picked up Astraea and she slumped over his broad shoulder.
