CHAPTER 3

JS2: ZARI'S POV

I stayed with him that night, tinupad niya nga ang sinabi niyang sa sofa lang siya matutulog para sakin. I owe him my life that night, kung di siguro siya ang dumating nun paniguradong napahamak na ako o di kaya'y nagpalaboy laboy lang sa daan. I woke up first when morning came, I decided to make sandwhich and and serve it with a glass of milk in the table beside his couch. I took shower without his permission and leave a letter on his study desk before I leave his condo unit with my luggage. 

My eyes widened watching others studying the readings in Constitutional Law, I shrugged my shouders and arrange my things, I took my readings off and couldn't help but take a large amount of breathe. Ang rami talaga. Consti palang 'to pero halos ikinahimatay ko na. But then I remember that I have my own ways to get rid of this and still get a high score.

"Angeles,"nilingon ko ang kumalabit sakin mula sa likod."Nililigawan kaba ni Kaden?"tila nang aasar na tanong niya.

I instanly turn my back from her and focus on my readings instead when she utter a word again.

"Sus deny pa, ang gwapo gwapo na nun! Tsaka nakita ko kayo kagabi sinakay ka niya sa SUV niya.."roon ako napalingon ulit sakanya."Balak ko nga kayong sundan eh kaso lumakas yung ulan." ani pa niya.

I show her a sarcastic smile."Do you know the word, privacy and respect?" 

Hilaw siyang napangiti. "O-oo naman..."utal na sagot niya.

"Akala ko hindi mo alam eh, law student kapa naman." I turn my back with a playful smile on my lips. 

I shrug my shoulder and look up when I saw a pair of shoes stopped in front of me.

"Good morning, Zari." Kaden Chua formally greeted, smiling.

"Good morning," I greeted back.

His brows raised while having an amusement smile on his lips."You did not woke me up.." I was half shock when he lean forward and whisper those words in my ear.

Mabilis akong napaiwas ng tingin."Hindi ka naman nalate,"tugon ko.

"Yeah but you should have..so we can go together."he said getting back to his position earlier, and started walking to his chair whe he suddenly look back."Let's have a lunch together, later."

Hindi ko siya sinagot at pinili nalang umayos ng upo nang mapansin an g ibang kaklase namin na pinapanood kaming dalawa.

"Silence means yes."bahagyang tumaas ang kilay ko nang sabihin niya yun at tiningnan ang gawi niya.

"That's right Mr. Chua, and you shall be seaten already before I got in."napaiwas ako ng tingin sa kahihiyan nang makita si Prof Alavarez na striktong tiningnan ang gawi ni Kaden na ngayo'y nanatili paring nakatayo at nasa akin ang atensyon.

When he finally realize that Prof Alvarez is in front he wave his hand that made my forehead knotted."Hey, what's up?" he asked Prof Alvarez.

"Mr. Chua I already give you a warning  that flirting is not allowed in my class so whatever that thing you are talking with Ms. Angeles you still have time for it later. Understood?"Prof asked.

Napakagat labi ako, pinaghihirapan ko ngang magkaroon ng magandang image dito sa Law School dinamay damay pa ako ni mokong sa ginagawa niya. And excuse me, flirting? Nah, not on my thing. Tama na ang stress na natamo ko sa pamilya ko at sa dami ng readings, hindi ko na dadagdagan pa ang stress sa buhay.

"Hindi po kami naglalandian Prof, hindi siya pumayag eh."mapaklang aniya na nagpalaki ng mga mata ko. Loko 'to ah.

I massage my temple and shook my head twice because of disappointment. Hanggang sa courtroom ay panay tanong siya sakin kung okay lang ba raw na magsabay kami, hindi ko siya sinasagot at hinahayaan nalang pero ng kulit kulit niya talaga.
