CHAPTER 4

JS2: ZARI'S POV

"Uy chix, bago na naman pre?"nakakunot ang noo kong tiningnan ang lalaking lumapit kaagad sa'min ni Kaden nang makarating sa condo unit niya. 

"Hindi gags."tawa niya, nilingon ako at marahang hinila lalo papasok."Zari sina Kio at Faust mga roomates ko, lilipat na sila ngayon."ani Kaden sakin habang nakaturo sa dalawang lalaking may hila hilang maleta at kumaway pa sakin."Bros si Zari kaibigan ko.."

"Hi!!" bati nila at nginitian ko lang.

"Ah sige pre nagmamadali narin kasi kami, ingat kayo rito tsaka goodluck din sayo Zari the friend!" ani pa nila bago nag unahan sa paglabas.

Awkward na nilibot ko ang tingin sa paligid, hindi ko na kasi ianabalang suriin ang lugar nung dinala ako rito ni Kaden. Napapakagat labi ko siyang nilingon.

"You have roomates? They weren't there when I sleep over last time." I approach him while watching him getting my things in his closet.

"They were having group research that time.."ngiti niya."Come here, have a sit."

I slowly walk towards him while non stopping bitting my lips because of awkwardness.

"Sila lang ba mga roomates mo? Wala ng iba?" I asked, looking around while pinching my hands that's now on my lap.

He nodded."Ikaw na ngayon," he stated.

"Uhm...I mean wala na talagang iba? Does that mean tayo lang dalawa ang titira rito?" 

He stop for a bit before he turn his head to me."Eventually yes. Tayong dalawa lang...wala ng iba." he playfully smirk and look down on my body.

I automatically cover my chest."Wala ka namang gagawin sakin diba?"I accusingly asked.

"Of course not. May respeto parin naman ako tsaka I already told you, I've already stop my nonsense so no worries...okay?"he stood up and went directly to his small kitchen. He went back holding a cup of coffee."Coffee?"

I shook my head."No thanks."

He shrugged his shoulders and had the coffee instead.

"P-paano yung babayaran ko..weekly ba?" nauutal na tanong ko habang diretso siyang tiningnan.

"Walang babayaran, lahat libre. Ang kailangan mo lang gawin ay--" I cut him off, rolling my eyes.

"Maging whore mo ganun?"

He choked from his coffee, I automatically hand him the tissue paper.

"What the heck  woman!!?"he exclaimed.

My forehead knotted."Bakit, hindi ba?" I laugh sarcastically.

"Just be my roomate, that's the condition."he stated seriously and put the cup down on his study table.

"Ano? Sure kaba? Pano yung mga gastusin ko rito, yung paggamit ng aircon, ng stove at iba pang gamit rito sa condo mo libre lang ganun?" di makapaniwalang saad ko.

"Yup, as long as you stay here as my roomate then problem solve. Alam kong walang wala ka ngayon kaya huwag ka nang ma-pride at tanggapin nalang ang alok ko. So, what's your decision you stay here with me or you'll rent outside without a money?"

"Seryoso ka talaga?"

"Yes I am. If you need assurance, you can contact Kio and Faust for it. I let them stay here without paying me," he said and hand me his phone.

I took a large amount of breath."Oo na, naniniwala na ako basta pagnaningil ka hindi talaga ako magbabayad ah." I look around his study desk for a paper when he grab my hand.
