CHAPTER 23

JS2: ZARI'S POV.

"Compile these documents Clea,"

I handed Clea some of the documents of the case I'm holding right now. It's Gonzalez's. Clea get if from me and compile it on her desk.

Clea and I share the same office so it'll be easy for me to get a help. I stare at the details of the case...the accusations. Puzzled. I turn to the next page and found some interesting detail.

RVG Village, Street 2A, 9th building.

Nangunot ang noo ko at napatiim bagang. Roon ang lokasyon sa pinangyarihan ng attempt rape. Bumaling naman ako sa mga dokumento ng biktima.

Rechane Pajarez, 22, 4th year college student, Pharmacist.

"Ito na po Atty,"si Clea yun at binigay ulit sa akin ang ngayong na-compile na mga dokumento.

Napakagat labi ako at tiningala siya nang mapansing hindi parin siya umaalis at nanatiling nakatayo sa harapan ko.

"Mahirap ba ang kaso Atty? Pwede akong tumulong."anito.

Tinitigan ko si Clea at tumango, mukha siyang interesado...so why not get a help from her?

"Doon tayo sa sofa,"tumayo ako at tinulungan niya naman ako sa paglipat ng mga dokumento.

"I just found out that this village are far from the other villages. It consist 4 streets and 34 buildings.."

"Imposible namang walang nakarinig sa biktima kung hihingi siya ng tulong Atty diba?"baling ni Clea sa akin.

Tumango ako."We have a problem here Clea, 22 of these buildings are abandoned kaya ibig sabihin nun ay may 12 na active building pero malayo sa pinangyarihan."

"How about the post and lights Atty? May post naman siguro sa mismong harap ng building..what if will investigate about it right now?"

Napakagat labi ako at napatitig sakanya. She has a point. I automatically told her to get the attention of Prosecutor Menduez to accompany us, I had a phone with 2 investigators also to help us.

Nang makarating kami sa village ay pinapasok kaagad kami ng bodyguard nang pinakita namin ang mga ID. Nag proceed kaagad kami sa nasabing building...9th building. We found a post but it's already broken.

Nakapasok kami sa loob sa tulong ng isang residente roon na siyang maintener ng building. Dinala niya kami sa CCTV room sa 2nd floor.

They have only 3 monitors.

Nagkatinginan kaming lahat bago umaksyon. Mabilis na kumilos ang mga investigators para buhayin ang monitor.

"January 28, 6: 26 PM.." I told them.

We found it.

From 5 PM to 7 PM camera.

Namuo ang tensyon sa amin nang umabot ng 5:22 ay wala paring nakikitang may pumasok sa building.
I seat firmly while waiting for the next scenes when suddenly a car stop in front of the building.

I become serious.

My eyes widened as I saw the black SUV. May lumabas na lalaki roon, naka black hoodie at pants, may bonnet. I bit my lower lip once again when he open the back of the car and reveal a baggage!

Shit.

Nagkatinginan kami ni Prosec Menduez at tinanguan niya naman ako. Makikita roon na nabibigatan ang lalaki sa hila hilang maleta papasok ng building.

Everything was fine when suddenly the monitor shut down.

They open the 2nd monitor, a CCTV that was place on the 3rd floor hallway. 5:55 PM, the area was quiet..you can't hear any noises.
