Boyfriend

Time Skip

We have been talking for hours. It was 10 till 8. We had to go outside because the cafe was about to close. We were sitting on a bench.

"It's getting late, I should call my ride" I said as I got out my phone.

"Oh okay, I had fun tonight" Ace said as he smiled.

"Me too"

I looked over to the flowers which were on my lap and then back at him.

"I have a question" Ace said nervously.

"What is it"

"Do you want to..." Ace said as he stopped.

Want to what? Is he talking about sex? I am not ready for that. Is he talking about kissing? What is he talking about???

"Be my...boyfriend" Ace asked.

I was silent. Do I? I do kind of like him. He was fun. He is cute.

"Yeah I do" I said as I smiled.

"Okay" he said as he reached for my hand.

I put my hand closer to his and he held it. My phone began to ring. I checked and it was Wilbur. Ace looked over and then looked at me. He squeezed my hand tighter.

"Hello?" I said as I answered the phone.

"I am here be quick" Wilbur said as he hung up.

A car pulled up to the front of the cafe. It was Wilbur. I quickly got up and Ace let go of me.

"I have to go" I said as I held on to the flowers he gave me.

"Oh okay" Ace said as he stood up.

He came to hug me. His face was close to mine, we were face to face. He closed his eyes and leaned closer. I pulled a bit away. I wasn't ready. Wilbur started to honk the horn multiple times. Ace let go.

"He told me to hurry" I said as I softly chuckled and walked to the car.

"Bye" Ace said as he just stood there.

Maybe this was a mistake.

I hopped in the car and let out a sigh. I put the flowers in the back. I noticed Wilbur staring at Ace.

"Why is he staring at me like that" Wilbur said as he looked at me.

"I don't know and lets just go" I said as I put on my seatbelt.

"I saw he tried to kiss you, your welcome" Wilbur said as he began to drive.

"What do you mean your welcome"

"I noticed you didn't want to kiss him" (Wilbur)

He was right. I didn't. I wasn't ready. Maybe one day I will but not today, after all he is my boyfriend.

"Yeah but one day I will be ready" I said as I smiled.

"So what happened" Wilbur said as he looked at the road and turned right.

"He asked me to be his boyfriend" I said as I softly chuckled.

"Oh and what did you say?" (Wilbur)

"Yes" I said excitedly.

"Thats cool" Wilbur said as he parked the car.

I looked around.

"Where are we?"

"I wanted ice cream and they close in thirty minutes that is why I told you to hurry" Wilbur said as he got out the car.

I took off my seatbelt and got out the car.

"And are you going to buy me one" I said as I laughed.

"Sure might as well celebrate the occasion" Wilbur said as he laughed.

Time Skip

I flopped on my bed and went on my phone. I was trending still. Another thing was trending. George's boyfriend was trending. I clicked it. First image shown was a picture of me and Ace in the cafe. Oh god. My phone began to vibrate. It was Ace. He was calling.

"Hello?" I said as I answered the phone.

"Hey"

"What's up"

"I have a question babe"

Babe? Did he call me babe? Isn't it to early?

"I have just been asked for photos and been asked so many questions" he said as he laughed.

"Oh really" I said as I nervously laughed.

"Yeah, I am in my car at a parking lot, are you like famous or something"

"Well I really wouldn't say famous, I am a streamer and youtuber"

"Really? Oh that's cool. They were asking me if I was dating GeorgeWasFound or something like that. I was like what? Who is GeorgeWasFound" Ace said as he started laugh even more.

I just laughed.

"I am GeorgeNotFound, but people were asking for pictures of you already?"

"Yeah, that's crazy then. You are a popular streamer and youtuber? Like my BOYFRIEND is a popular youtuber and streamer. It's just mind blowing" Ace said as he stopped laughing.

"Haha" I said awkwardly.

"I watched a couple of your videos and I noticed a lot of them had a guy named Dream in them" he said in a weird voice.

"I thought you just realized I was a youtuber?" I said questioning.

"Oh no umm I did a little bit of research before I called you" he said as he chuckled.

"Oh haha"

Seems a little weird. It doesn't seem to add up. I am probably just overthinking.

"So are you excited for New Years? What are you doing?"

"Not really excited but I am going to see my friends, one of them decided we should hang out at some kind of small like event near the beach. There is going to be like a DJ and dance floor outside and a bar there. All out in the open and stuff" I said as I sighed.

"Is um what's his name...that one guy who picked you up gonna be there?"

"Who? Do you mean Wilbur? Of course, he is my friend after all" I said as I softly chuckled.

"Oh...haha"

"I am not really going to do anything, maybe just chill at home" he said as he sighed.

There was silence.

"A party seems fun, hope you have fun" he said as he sighed again.

"I am not really a people person"

More silence.

"Um...you should come" I said to break the silence.

"Really?" He said excitedly.

"Yeah" I said as I smiled.

This would be great. By then I will be ready to kiss him. I will kiss him when the countdown hits zero.
