Stunt

"Woah nice house" Alice said as we entered the house.

"I will take you back home later" Dream said as he set her backpack on the couch.

I felt overwhelmed with emotions. Alice and Dream sat down on the couch. Alice got on her laptop. Dream looked stressed.

I felt tears forming in my eyes. I quickly went to the backyard.

Dream POV

I didn't tell her. She seemed so happy knowing I have a girlfriend. She kept pushing those questions to me. I felt terrible. Dinner was terrible, it was chaotic. It wasn't a good idea.

Sapnap sat next to me.

"Talk to George, he is outside. I think he is...crying" (Sapnap)

I immediately stood up.

"I have to go do something, Nick can help you if you need help" I told Alice as I rushed outside.

I looked around. No one was there. I heard sniffling from the roof. I climbed the ladder. George was there, crying.

"George?" I said as I sat next to him.

"Oh hey" he said as he tried to wipe his tears.

They just kept coming down.

"Are you okay?"

"Well obviously not, since you're crying. What's wrong"

"Dream maybe we won't work out. I can't give you children. I can't get pregnant. Your mom wants children, I can't give her that. We haven't even "did it" yet. I can't even call you by your real name. I don't want your mom to be disappointed. I don't want you to suffer through all of this. Maybe it's best if we just-" He said before I cut him off.

I put my hands on his shoulders.

"George, don't be ridiculous" I said as I chuckled.

"We aren't ready for children, we can always adopt or just grow old together, just the two of us. We haven't "did it" because we aren't ready, there is no need to rush it. The whole name thing, think of it as a nickname. My mom won't be disappointed, if she is then it's her problem not mine. She can't control who I am in love with and who I can be with. I get she wants grandchildren but Ivy and I are all busy with our own things, she isn't ready for children. Neither are we. Look if you aren't ready to tell my mom about us then we can wait. Everything will be alright"

"I don't want you to have a bad relationship with your family because of me. It's my duty to make you happy, letting you go and date other people to make your mom happy will accomplish that goal" He said as more tears came down his face.

"Don't say that. That won't make me happy, that will make my mom happy. My mom isn't me George. What will make ME happy is being with you. Whether I have a bad relationship with my family is on them, if they don't want me for me then I will move on with my life. But I want to move with my life with you George. I want you" I said as I wiped his tears.

"But your mom wants grandchildren, I can't give her that" He said as he sniffled.

"And I wanted a real dinosaur when I was younger, we all can't get what we want. She is going to have to wait, for Ivy or when we decide to have a kid" I said as I kissed his forehead.

"I don't like kids" He said as he chuckled and sniffled.

"Mm maybe I can change that" I said as I hugged him.

"We aren't even married yet, we can't have kid" He said as he hugged me tightly.

"I can change that" I said as I chuckled.

Time Skip

I went back in the house. George was still outside, looking at the stars.

"You took forever" Alice said as she looked at me.

"We had a chat"

"A very long one" (Alice)

I sat down next to Alice.

"Why did you want to leave?" I said as I looked at her.

George came in.

She was silent. She just stared at her laptop.

"I won't get mad, if that's what you think" I said as I smiled.

She took a deep breath.

"I saw the way mom was talking. She kept bringing up relationships and I just didn't want to get caught up in that mess. I knew she was going to do that, I just didn't know she was going to go this far. Living with her and dad is just terrible sometimes. They fight a lot. Mainly about you. They talk about how you don't have a real job or a girlfriend. They talked about Nick and George. Not like really bad things, but they were saying how Nick just lives with you rent free and how you have always talked about George. They were worried you were gay and mom had planned this whole dinner. You gave her what she wanted and now she is going to come after me" She said as she sighed.

"No offense Dream, but what the hell are your parents" Sapnap said shocked.

I sat there, thinking. This was all a set up. She did this to me. George sat down next to me.

Alice's phone started ringing. She picked it up.

"Hello?" (Alice)

We couldn't hear who was on the other line.

"Okay, bye" She said as she hung up.

"It was mom, she said to take me home, because dad was home" She said as she closed her laptop and sighed.

She put her laptop in her backpack.

"Alice, do you want to stay for a bit? You can stay in the guest room. We will go home and grab your stuff. I need to have a talk with mom and dad" I said as I stood up.

George grabbed my hand and pulled me down.

"Are you sure?" George asked.

His eyes were still red and puffy from crying. He was genuinely upset from this little stunt they pulled.

"I am" I said as he let go.
