Noodles

"You okay?" Quackity said as he waved his hand.

"Yeah...yeah" I said as I stopped zoning out.

"Sorry if that was a sensitive question or something, you looked upset" he said as he nervously laughed.

"No no no no it's fine" I said as I smiled.

"I actually have a question for you" I said as I cleared my throat.

He nodded his head.

"Do you want to hang out, just us? I need some time with someone I don't live with" I said as I sighed.

"Sure" he said as he smiled.

Time Skip
We got out the uber and headed inside the mall.

"Let's go in there" I said as I pointed to a store that had some decent clothes.

We headed inside. I started to look through the rack. Quackity looked too.

"Quackity, I have a genuine question" I said as I continued to look through the clothes.

"Yeah?" (Quackity)

"Lets say I like someone but I am not sure I like them like them. As in I don't know if I would date them. But you two have done stuff that makes you not just friends, what are you?"

"Well do you not want to date them? Do you feel anything for them in a romantic way still. The past is in the past. You have to see the present" (Quackity)

"I love how things are now, but there is a feeling of guilt because we left on weird term you know?"

"Don't feel guilty, don't put pressure to date him. Go on your own terms, you either like him or don't" He said as he pulled out a black crewneck.

"Try this" He said as he handed me it.

He pulled out a collared shirt and handed me it.

"You use them together" he said as he pulled out black jeans.

He handed me it and dragged me to a dressing room.

I sighed and closed the curtain. I began to undress. I put on everything, it looked nice? I would have never picked this if I was by myself. I walked out the room.

"Turn" he said as he gestured.

I turned.

"It looks good, just as I thought" he said as he laughed.

"It does" I said as chuckled.

"Leave it on, we will pay for it right now" (Quackity)

Time Skip

"Noodles sounds good" I said as we walked to the food court.

"It does" Quackity said as he softly chuckled.

We ordered some noodles and sat down with our plates. They were in a foam to go box. I began to eat. Quackity sort of just sat there.

"Something wrong?" I said as I stopped eating.

"No" he said as he stopped zoning out.

He began to eat. I did too.

"So I sort of don't want to talk about it in such a public space so I will just use code names" He said as he continued to eat.

"We will do Kate and Nate" (Quackity)

I looked at him with a confused face.

"I know the conversation at the shop was about Kate and Nate. I am guessing Kate doesn't know if they want to date Nate again" (Quackity)

"Oh" I said as I started to understand.

"Kate doesn't want to ruin what he..she already has. Things are going good for Kate, she feels bad for Nate because they were once closer than ever, Now it's just weird in a way"

"You never know what can happen, good things can happen. Does Kate still love Nate? Lets say Nate found someone else, they do the same things like Kate and Nate used to do. Would Kate get jealous? Would Kate be able to be "just friends", nothing more? Would Kate be able to move on from Nate? Would Kate be able to love someone else like she loved Nate?" He said as he continued to eat.

I stopped eating.

"I...don't know" I said as I dropped my utensil.

"Would Kate be happy for Nate? Or would Kate feel regret knowing it could have been her, or should have been" Quackity said as he continued eating.

"I- Kate would feel, sad..." I said as I looked over to a couple.

They were holding hands, and walking to a candy shop. It should be me. Nate- I mean Dream, should be with me. I am happy with him. And he is happy with me, I think.

"I know what to do now" I said as I packed up my food.

"Your welcome, man I should start charging for this" He said as he packed up his food.

We put everything in a bag and started to walk.

"I need to grab a few things" I said as I dragged Quackity to a shop.

It was a couples shop. Matching everything.

"Oh god, I can't be caught here" Quackity said as he laughed.

I felt a little nervous. Well a lot. I was in a couples shop, with Quackity. A COUPLES SHOP WITH QUACKITY.

I looked around and found jewelry. I dragged Quackity.

"Look" I said as I pointed at some rings.

"Okay?" Quackity said confused.

"Hello! Can I help you with anything?" A worker said from behind us.

I felt nervous talking. I felt embarrassed.

"Yeah, my friend here is looking at your rings, do you guys have different sizes?" Quackity asked.

"Yes we do! Do you know your girlfriend's ring size?" She said as she smiled and looked at me.

Fuck. I am pretty sure I do. And not really girlfriend but a boyfriend, she doesn't need to know that.

"Yeah" I said as I awkwardly smiled.

"Okay! Just come to the front when you have decided on the ring colors" She said as she walked away.

"What color do you want" Quackity said annoyed.

"I am thinking black? It goes with everything" I said as I pointed at it.

"Mhm just two black rings? Pretty basic" Quackity said as he laughed.

"Well I can get them carved?" I suggested.

"With what? Dreamy Weamy and Gogy" Quackity said as he bursted out laughing.

He covered his mouth to not cause attention.

"I can do the initials? He has my initial and I have his?"

"Basic but it will do" He said as he calmed down and smiled.
