I woke up with a runny nose. I was getting sick. I groaned. I slowly got out of bed and headed downstairs.
"Morning" Karl said as he smiled.
Sapnap and Karl were already awake and were on the couch. They were playing uno.
"Morning" I responded.
I looked around for Dream.
"He is in his room, he is sick" (Sapnap)
I went upstairs and stood in front of Dream's door. I took a deep breathe and went in. I kept sniffing.
"Hey" He said in a sick voice.
"Look who's sick Mr. I can't get sick" I said as I rolled my eyes.
"Still worth it" He said as he softly chuckled.
He sounded very sick and tired. I was cold. I was definitely getting sick.
I walked closer to him. He had a tissue box next to his bed. Hopefully for his runny nose.
"I am sorry" I said as I sighed.
"Sorry?" He said questioningly.
"Yeah I am really sorry."
"Why are you apologizing? It isn't your fault that you are just so attractive that I want to kiss you all the time" He said as he chuckled.
I laughed.
"You're funny even when you're sick" I said as I continued to laugh.
"I'm serious" He said as he smiled.
He sat up. I sat down on his bed. We hugged. He didn't let go. I attempted to wiggle out of his grasp.
"Dream" I said as I laughed.
He grabbed me tighter and laid down. I was on top of him, flat.
"I just want to hug" He said as he sighed.
"Fine" I said as I chuckled.
I hugged him. I was laying on him. Not in a sexual way, just a sweet couple way.
"I love you" He whispered.
"I.." I said quietly.
It felt like a force wasn't allowing me to say what I wanted to say.
"It's okay, you don't have to say it back" He said as hugged me tighter.
I softly groaned. I couldn't bring myself to say it. Does he really love me? Is he just saying that because of my past relationships? Does he feel pity for me? Why am I doubting him? He is too good for me. I know it. I'm not good enough for him. I wanted to keep us a secret, am I bad person for that? What if I wanted to keep him secret because my subconscious really is embarrassed. What am I thinking? Snap out of it.
I got off him.
"I am going to go downstairs" I said as I awkwardly smiled.
"Okay" He said as he smiled.
I walked out the room. I closed the door, took a deep breath, and rushed downstairs.
Karl and Sapnap were watching TV. I snatched the remote from the table and turned off the TV.
"HEY we were watching that" Sapnap said annoyed.
"I need help"
"Obviously" (Sapnap)
Karl giggled.
"No relationship help" I said as I scoffed.
"Oh" (Karl)
"Fine what is it" Sapnap said as he groaned.
"Is Dream in love with me?"
"Duh" (Sapnap)
Karl nodded his head.
"Do I love Dream"
"Yeah" (Sapnap)
"Pretty sure" (Karl)
"Then why can't I say.... The L word to him" I said as I groaned.
"I was thinking, what if I am embarrassed about me and him. What if I don't realize I am and it's my subconscious. How can he say it so easily and yet I struggle so much. What he really is too good for me" I said as I sat on the single sofa.
I laid back and sighed.
"Don't sweat it" (Sapnap)
"You can't say it because you don't believe it. You don't believe he loves you. He reminds you all the time that he loves you. He knows you struggle with emotions and don't show a lot of love for someone. If you think about it, he has been helping you with that, everyday, even before you two were dating. You just never realized it" (Karl)
"What he is saying is, you need to open your eyes. Dream has always loved you and never stopped. You can do your own research, I bet there's clips out there. And don't worry about saying I love you. It takes time, especially from someone like you. It took time for you to even be touchy with me in a friend way" Sapnap said as he chuckled.
"Okay" I said as I took a deep breath.
"Don't stress about it" (Sapnap)
Time Skip. 1 week and a half later
"Shh" Dream said as we entered the store.
Me and Sapnap held in our laughter.
We were in a Halloween shop to buy decorations.
Me and Sapnap ran to the costume section.
"We could be Power Rangers" Sapnap said as he held up a yellow power ranger suit.
Dream came speed walking towards us
"No" I said as I laughed.
"LOOK THEY HAVE MINECRAFT COSTUMES" Sapnap shouted.
"Keep it down" Dream in a annoyed tone.
"Sorry" Sapnap whispered.
"Look you could be Steve" Sapnap said as he handed me a steve costume.
"You could be a creeper and Clay could be an enderman" I said as I pointed at the costumes.
Dream looked confused.
"It would be weird to call you Dream in public" I said as I chuckled.
"Yeah" Sapnap agreed.
"Okay NICK that is a terrible idea for costumes" Dream said as he laughed.
"Whatever CLAY" (Sapnap)
Time Skip
"Where did Clay go?" I said as we walked down the pirate isle.
"He probably went to go get the rest of the decorations" Sapnap said as he grabbed an eye patch.
He put it over his eye. He looked and me and smiled, maliciously.
"Arrr" He said in a pirate voice.
Sapnap face froze. He looked shocked.
"Behind you" Sapnap said as he pointed.
I looked behind me.
"BOO"
I screamed. I was startled. It was Dream in a scary mask.
Sapnap and Dream both laughed.
"You scream like a little girl" Sapnap said as he laughed even harder.
Dream took off the scary mask and hugged me.
"Sorry, it was just too tempting" he said as he continued to laugh.
We all laughed together.
