Driveway

It has been a week. My parents haven't called, I haven't heard a thing. George and Alice have been hanging out a lot. Sapnap is just always playing Minecraft with Quackity and Karl.

Sapnap, George, and Alice were in Sapnap's room. I was in the kitchen.

I quickly put the lasagna back in the oven to cook for a bit longer. I walked into Sapnap's room. George was laying in Sapnap's bed. Alice was standing next to Sapnap watching him play. I sat down at the edge of the bed.

"Hey Clay" Alice said as she continued to watch Sapnap.

"Dreammm" George whined.

I laid down next to him. We looked up at the ceiling.

"Anything yet?" George asked as he turned to me.

Sapnap groaned.

"I was so close" Sapnap said as he sighed.

"You suck" Alice said as she smirked.

"As if you could do any better" (Sapnap)

"I can" She said proudly.

"Prove it" Sapnap said as he stood up.

Alice sat down on his seat.

"Nope nothing" I said as I sighed and looked at George.

"I am sorry" George said as he closed his eyes and tilted his head down.

"It's not your fault, if they wanted to call they could" I said as I raised his head up to face.

"CRAP" Alice shouted.

"HA YOU ARE WORSE THAN I AM" Sapnap said as he bursted with laughter.

Time Skip

"Mmm food" Alice said as I put out the garlic bread.

I sat down and we began to eat.

"I am surprised Clay can cook" She said as she ate.

I rolled my eyes.

"Can you cook George?" She said as she looked at him.

"He can make a bombass cereal" Sapnap said as he laughed.

George chuckled.

My phone began to ring. I looked at the caller id. It was mom. I stared at the phone. Everyone was silent. They all stopped eating. I took a deep breath and answered it. I put it on speaker phone.

"Hello?" I said trying to keep calm.

"Hi Clay..." Dream's mom said as she sighed.

"I don't want to do this over the phone. Can you please come over as soon as you can, and bring your sister home? I really need to talk to you. Can you also bring....George?"

She sounded upset and disappointed.

"Um sure" I said as I sighed.

"We are eating dinner right now, we will go after we finish eating and Alice packs"

"Okay, see you soon" She said as she hung up.

"This is going to be a disaster" Alice said as she sighed.

"Everything will be fine" Sapnap said as he continued to eat.

"Yeah easy for you to say, you weren't invited" Alice said as she rolled her eyes.

"Fine we will bet on it, if everything turns out fine, you owe me 20 bucks" Sapnap said as he grinned.

"Okay and if everything isn't fine, you owe me a setup" Alice said as she grinned.

"That isn't fair" (Sapnap)

"What? Afraid you are going to lose?" (Alice)

"You know what, fine, you're on" Sapnap said as he continued to eat.

Time Skip

George squeezed my hand. We were at the front door. He let go of my hand. I rung the doorbell. It took a while but my mom answered the door. Alice walked right in.

Mom looked as if she were on the verge of tears. She looked at me. She hugged me tightly. She began to cry.

"I am so sorry" She said as she sobbed.

I hugged her back.

"I am sorry for everything" She said as she let go.

She looked at George and wiped her tears. She hugged him.

"I am so sorry if you ever felt as if I wouldn't accept you as part of the family" She said as she hugged very tightly.

George's eyes widened.

"Part of the family?" He said surprised.

"Of course, you are a part of this family. I am sorry if I have made you felt as if you weren't. What I did at that dinner was wrong. I was worried with Clay. He never called, visited. Nothing. That dinner would be my confirmation that he had a girlfriend, and was busy because he was with her. That confirmation that I didn't fail as a mother. Another part if me did want grandchildren, it was a bit of both. I am very sorry" (Mom)

They stopped hugging. George smiled.

She turned to me.

"Your father is a bit, angry at you. I felt terrible. I needed to apologize" She said as tears went down her face.

"I knew he would be" I said as I sighed.

"Listen mom, Alice needs help. She isn't well. She needs someone to talk to. She needs you mom" I said as I put my hands on her shoulders.

Tears were falling down her cheek.

"I will get her the help she needs. I feel like a terrible mother" She said as she sobbed.

I hugged her.

Time Skip

We were in the car, still in my mom's driveway. I laid back in seat.

"That was stressful" I said as I sighed.

"Look on the brightside, you got it over with. You should really start texting or calling your mom often" He said as he chuckled softly.

It felt like my stomach had butterflies. His chuckle. His smile. His face. He just looked so...so...

"Are you blushing?" He said as he laughed.

"Oh come here" I said I grabbed his chin and pulled him closer to me.

He chuckled.

I kissed him, he kissed me back.

"I love you" I said as I pulled away.

He smiled.

We continued to kiss. His hands were on the back of my neck. Things started to escalate. We were kissing more passionately. I didn't want to stop. He pulled away. He was out of breath.

"Maybe we shouldn't do this in your parent's driveway" He said as he laughed.

"We probably shouldn't" I said as I chuckled.

He wiped my saliva off his lips. I put on my seatbelt and turned the car on. I began to pull out the driveway.

I felt my heartbeating faster. It felt as if I had a middle school crush.

"George" I said as we stopped at a stop sign.

"Yeah?" He said as he turned looked at me.

"Do you want to go on a date?" I asked in a shy manner.

"Sure" He said as he chuckled.
