It's been 2 days since we went mini golfing. I was sitting at my chair. I clicked my pen, over and over and over. Video ideas, none. I spun in my chair and sighed. There was a knock at my door. It was Dream.
"Hey George" he said as he walked into my room.
"Dream I need your help" I said as I slouched in my chair.
"What is it?" Dream said as he sat on my bed.
"Any video ideas?"
"Video ideas?" (Dream)
"Yeah"
"Hm, minecraft but I am gay" Dream said as he laughed.
"You are dumb, how would that even work" I said as I laughed.
"Everything is...rainbow" Dream said as he realized what he said.
"Dream..."
"I forgot you were color blind" He said as laughed even harder.
"Minecraft but my best friend is Dream"
"What?" (Dream)
"I don't know" I said as I groaned.
"Minecraft but I am in love with GeorgeNotFound" (Dream)
"Haha very funny" I said as I sat up.
"I am serious" Dream said as he smiled.
I just softly chuckled. I brushed over it. I turned my chair and started my pc.
"George" (Dream)
"Yeah?" I said as I opened Minecraft.
"Why?" (Dream)
"What?" I said confused.
I was in the Minecraft menus.
"Why would you ever kiss me" Dream asked.
"What do you mean?"
"Why would you kiss me? I am a nobody. I don't deserve you, and you seemed to have realized that" Dream said as stood up.
I continued to stare at the menu.
"Every single romantic gesture I make, you turn down. It's like...." Dream said angrily.
"It's like we are back to where we started.." He said softly.
He rushed out the room and slammed the door. I could hear him going downstairs. I looked at the message near the Minecraft logo.
"I love you, George" it read.
He must have coded it in. I felt my face start to tense up. I was going to cry. What did I do? I turned him down because everything was going so well and I didn't want to mess anything up. I stood up and opened my door. I took a deep breath and went downstairs.
"Dream?" I called out.
"He left" Sapnap shouted from the kitchen.
"Do you know where?" I said worried.
"He didn't say, he was in a rush" Sapnap shouted.
I groaned. I can't drive and we only have one car. I think I know where he is.
"I need a ride" I said as I sighed.
"Dream just took the car, you can try riding the bus, there is a stop around the playground in the other neighborhood" Sapnap said as walked over to me.
"I think I can walk to the place it's 20 minutes away"
"20 minutes away in a car, not by walking" (Sapnap)
"I will do it" I said as I sighed.
"I will see you later" I said as I walked out the door.
I took a deep breath and began to run. I messed up. I always mess up, maybe this is a sign that I should give up. I started to slow down. NO. I started to speed up again. I don't mess up. I can do this. I can fix this.
Time Skip
I arrived. I was out of breath. The cafe. Our first date. I caught my breath and went in. Sure enough he was there. He was staring down at his drink. Just swirling it around with a straw. I sat down in front of him. He looked up at me and then back at his drink.
"How did you find me" he said in a monotone voice.
"You said this would be your new comfort place remember" I said as I softly chuckled.
"On our first date"
He just mumbled.
"Can you please just look at me" I said as I reached for his hand.
He looked up at me. I had my hand on top of his.
"The reason I did those things is because everything went back to normal for the first time in a long time, I didn't want to screw anything up" I said as I sighed.
"George, if there is anything I have learned, it's that change happens, nothing stays the same. Feelings change. People change. Everything changes at some point" he said as he smiled a little.
"You know what didn't change" I said as I smiled.
"What?" (Dream)
"My love for you" I said as I held his hand properly.
"You're dumb" he said as he softly chuckled.
"How did you even get here" he said as he chuckled.
"I ran here" I said as I sighed.
"You ran?!" (Dream)
"I ran for you Dream" I said as I laughed.
"Oh my god" he said as his cheeks turned a little pink.
"Did I just make you blush? This is an accomplishment" I said as I laughed.
He let go of my hand and covered his face.
"No" he said muffled.
"I so did" I said as I giggled.
I grabbed his drink and took a sip.
"Wait a second...this is the drink I ordered from our date" I said as I smirked.
Dream groaned as he still covered his face.
"That's adorable" I said as I continued to drink it.
"What now" he said as he uncovered his face.
"I don't want to do anything that you don't want to do....it just hurts because after all we have been through you just sort of, ignored it" (Dream)
"And I am really sorry for that Dream, I didn't mean to hurt you" I said as I put his drink down.
"We...can go back to normal, just as long as you don't forget what happened between us" he said as he let go of my hand.
"I don't want to go back to normal. Yes I want everything to be normal, but not with us. I want us to stay the same" I said as I sighed.
"Can we redo this? Same feelings but we just forget all the bumpy roads" He said as he chuckled.
"Yeah, lets do this, the right way" I said as I smiled.
