During she was sleeping, Sebastian followed Joseph. He saw him. He knew Joseph's intentions.

He stopped following him and took another road. He knew where this asshole lived so he decided to drive to his house. He waited for Joseph. He waited twenty long minutes to show him a piece of his mind. But before to do anything, he wanted to start a little conversation with the guy.

"Mister Stan? What do I owe the pleasure?"

"You know it's not polite to follow a girl when she's alone right?"

"Following? I didn't follow-"

"I saw you. You followed Layla and shout something really mean."

"You misunderstood sir, I-"

"It is not polite." He walked a bit closer to him and started simply with only punches in the face. Crunch. When Joseph had enough blood on his face, he attacked his abdomen. He kicked and punched as hard as he could do. This bastard needed to know it wasn't a good idea to follow someone. Especially a young lady. The blood was all over his hands, his face and there was blood on his expensive shirt.

He didn't want to stop.

Sebastian finally stopped when Joseph was crying and begging him to. He looked at him; his nose, his left leg and few ribs were broken. He didn't realize he attacked Joseph's legs. He was so far in his thoughts of this ass following someone.

And Joseph messed with the wrong guy. He will remember that. Before Sebastian left, he changed his clothes. Luckily for him, he always had a spear shirt in his car. Once he was dressed, he drove his car to his majestic house. He built it himself with some help of course. A big Mediterranean house with three floors.

"Mister Stan, welcome back."

"Thanks Loren."

"Would you like some tea?"

"Yes, please."

Loren knew him since he was a kiddo. He grew up with her. She saw him going in the dark and get back on his feet. She was proud of him. His mother's death was the cause of why he went down.

She started calling him mister Stan when he started having a little beard. He tried to make her stop, but she didn't listen. "There you go. Would you like something else before I go?"

"Eh... Yes please. I have a shirt that needs to be clean. Could you do that?"

"Of course. Give it to me."

"Thanks a lot, Loren."

"It's no big deal. See you tomorrow morning."

He nodded. Never she missed a day to take care of him. He was 36 and he was able to take care of himself, but Loren really wanted to do it.

Thinking like he was thinking, it was already two in the morning before he went to bed.

[...]

Layla woke up with fear in her stomach. She was also anxious at the idea to meet her boss. She didn't know what to do. She tried to eat, but everything tasted like chalk.

Her grandpa decided to make a smoothie if she was thirsty while she walked to go to her work. It usually took twenty minutes to go there, but today... today she left over an hour before she started. What if she met Sebastian while she walked?

Loui tried to comfort her before she left, but it didn't work. It was a first. Her dog always found a way to calm her down. She tried to chase all the negativity when she was in front of the door.

"Lay'! How are you doing?" Smiled Kendra.

"Oh... I'm great, thanks. You?"

"I'm great. I know you are early, but do you think you could help me?"

"Sure."

"I owe you."

Layla prepared herself and started working. Maybe the stress will leave her alone later. She worked for few hours before she saw Joseph. What the hell happened? His nose was purple and he had crutches. "You little brat!"

"Wh-what?"

"Joseph!" Kendra almost screamed in an authoritarian way.

"It's because of you if I'm like this!"

"Because of her? Lay'?"

"I didn't do anything!"

"You, liar! You asked to Sebastian to do that to me."

"What? No!"

He continued to scream at her. Kendra asked him a million time to stop doing that in front of their clients, but of course he didn't listen. She wanted to disappear... she was on the verge of crying all the tears of her body. She wanted to be with her grandparents and her pets.

All the customers left the restaurant but listened outside. Their arguments were heard all over the street. Because of that, people stopped and almost the half of the Times Square was listening.

And that was bad.

In all the ways, it was bad. For the restaurant, their reputations and mostly for Joseph. If someone knew what he just did to Layla, he would be dead.

It was already cruel to treat her like he did the day before, but today... Threatening Layla and saying she was liar. That was the cherry on the cake.

Wishing someone's death wasn't something normal. It was even worse when he said he would kill her. It went that far. Everyone gasped.

At the other side, Sebastian was drinking a coffee, reading his mails. Like every single day before, it was the same shit. Except one. He didn't recognize the name.

Please, help

It took him few minutes to understand that it was from Layla. He didn't realize first because her email was lhardin01@gmail.com. Now he knew her full name. His researches could start, but it wasn't in the plan now. He dressed up as fast as he could and left. Didn't even wait for his driver.

It took him only 10 minutes to drive there. Ten long minutes to see he came late. She was already hurt. Someone have left their hand trace on her angelic face.

Joseph was proud. He took her phone and sent the email. He wanted to see if Sebastian would really come for this hoe.

"Mister Stan, you came."

"As I promised. Layla, come with me."

"Sir, I-I can't. I need to work."

"Lay, I would completely understand if you want to quit." Said Kendra. A real gentle soul.

But she didn't want to quit. She loved this place . The only problem was Joseph. Layla decided to take few days so Kendra could solve the issues with her terrible husband.

"Sir, I don't think she will ever be enough for you."

"Did I say I wanted to hear something from your anus?! I don't give a fuck of what you think."

"Ye-yes sir."

He loved the power he had on people. Joseph tried to stand up and with one look and one sentence, he shut his mouth. Sebastian smirked and took Layla's hand. If he needed it, he would helped her.

"Thanks, sir."

"Call me Sebastian."

"Okay, sir. I mean Sebastian, no! I mean sir." She sighed shaking her head.

"I'll drive you back home."

"Okay... Wait how do you know where I live? Who are you?" She asked scared and confused. As much as she wanted answers, she wasn't sure if she would be able to take it.
