Layla woke up at the lunch time once again. She dressed up and she decided to put some luxury on her. Everything was from Mary even if she didn't like to be spoiled like this. She had few books, necklaces and perfumes who knew how much they costed. She tried to stop her lovely mamie, but it didn't work.

"My little blossom is finally awake! What do you want to eat?"

"Please, stop for two minutes!" She laughed. "I just woke up, I'll eat later... I promise, but I think I'll take some time today with Loui and Enzo."

"Okay, little blossom."

Her grandma started calling her blossom when she was around 4. Layla was running in a flower shop and wanted to buy a little tree of cherry blossom just for herself. She was sad when they told her they weren't real. She cried for over a week. Mary and Eric bought tickets and went to Japan to show her the bunch of trees. It was the best week of her life and still today is. She perfectly remembered the time she passed there. Amazing.

"Grandma, why Loui is in the house and not with grandpa to help with him with the wood?"

"He was probably tired to follow him everywhere. You should know that, it's your dog." Mary laughed.

Layla smiled went back to her room. She opened the cage to let Enzo flying. It was mostly because of that she didn't like to work that much. She didn't have time for her parrot and her dog. It was always she woke up, she left and went to sleep when she came back.

"Waffle, chocolate, waffle, chocolate." Enzo was singing.

She didn't know where he learned this, but it was always funny to hear. The funniest part was the fact he was singing to the beat she was playing with her guitar. When he stopped, she decided to sing the quotes she sang yesterday. She took her notebook and placed it face to her in case inspiration came to her.

"Wanting was enough for me, it was enough. We always walked a very thin line but we were beautiful people with beautiful problems and if I could fly, I would come to you."  She stopped. "Fuck, this is depressive."

"BeauTIfuul."

"Thanks Enzo."

Why was she singing something depressive? She never loved someone. Never had a boyfriend before. She was thinking about it for few minutes before she stopped. It didn't matter at the end 'cuz no one will ever hear it anyway. She wrote few more sentences and restarted singing. "I would come to you. I would run around the world for you. I would cross all the lines if you ever let me try."

Layla smiled. She liked the sound it made. After she closed the book, she put back Enzo to his cage and went downstairs to eat something; pasta with a ton of cheese. After, she went for a walk with her dog. The soft and fresh wind of September made her smile. She loved fall season. She went to the stores who accepted dogs and bought decorations. Each year, she did something different and her imagination was loved by everyone. She was maybe early, but it made smile everybody from the neighbourhood.

"Lay'! Good to see you. What are you doing today?"

"Nothing special. I wrote few sentences and I'm here to buy decorations for fall."

"Always early. I see you brought Loui too."

"Yes! I don't work today so I wanted to take time with him."

They talked a bit about what they did for the last two weeks and she left with three bags full of decorations. She loved this store. Anna was always kind to her and she let her bring Loui whenever she wanted. After maybe an hour, she went back home to start decorating and she refused any help from Mary and Eric.

[...]

Layla finally finished everything and it was now time to eat. Her grandma did a good soup with bread. A comfort meal with the day they all had. They all ate in silence, enjoying the supper. She after took a shower and watched a movie on her laptop. She made some popcorn with a lot of butter on it and took chocolate too.

Layla fell asleep with all the food she ate during the movie. Mary came in and cleaned it up before she went to bed too.

...

At the other side of Manhattan, in the luxury neighbourhood, Sebastian was getting ready to go to one of his clubs. Wearing a classy black Brioni suit, he went to his black SUV Audi RSQ8. His driver already knew where he needed to go and didn't ask any questions. Sebastian wasn't a talking person we can say.

He was checking his emails for a good time of the drive. All the same topic. He didn't want to sell one of his clubs. Even less the most expensive one. The offers were more than tempting, but he built them. He owned them. There was no way he would let someone else demolish that.

Once he was inside the club, he already knew what would happen. All the drunk girls wanted to sleep with him. They were ready to pay him to sleep with them. But he declined every offer. Yes, he was sleeping with girls, but none of them were drunk. He wasn't an asshole like this, no... He thought it's was better when they finished and telling them to go home. No feelings, no regrets. That's how he worked.

Sebastian directly went to his office. He didn't want to be distracted by anyone who was partying. Didn't feel to have fun tonight. He poured himself a glass of his strongest whiskey and took a long sip. He had a long day. This girl with her dog took so long in the store. Nobody cared about what she did at work, come on. Working 6 days a week wasn't that bad. She was like what? 22-23? She didn't have anything to complain.

He barely had time to look at her that she was already gone. He would've loved to tell her his piece of his mind.

"God, why am I thinking about this slut?" He asked to himself rubbing his temples.

Mister Stan was an occupied man with all the clubs he needed to visit to be sure everything was okay. Thinking about a girl was his last problem.

"Sir? Someone's asking for you."

"Who?"

"Logan, sir."

"Tell him I'm not here."

"Yes, sir."

His bartender went back to the bar. He really needed to be alone so he locked the door. He sat on his couch at ten thousand dollars. Few hours had passed and still... Why he wasn't able to take her out of his mind? He hated that. The feeling.

Starting to be obsessed.
