The night was long. She felt like her shift took an entire day.

"Come on, dove. I drive you home."

"Thanks." She yawned. What a cutie. He wanted to pinch her pink cheeks.

Like every time he drove her home, he opened the car door for her. She thanked him again and closed her eyes. She was so tired. And she didn't know why. It wasn't the worst night so she didn't have a good reason to be that tired.

"Do you want to go to my house if you're too tired?"

"I'm good... I just want to rest my eyes two more minutes."

"I live five minutes away from here. I'll bring you there."

"No, please." She almost said quietly.

"Doll, you live almost an hour away from the club. You'll fall asleep. Let me take you where I live. Loren would be happy."

"Alright... but I'll leave as soon as I wake up."

Stubborn. She could stay as long as she wanted. She was more than welcome there. Loren said it to Sebastian so many times since she saw her for the first time.

She was glad she always had spare clothes and toothbrush in her bag. First of because of this kind of thing could happen anytime and because she was really drunk tonight.

And that... it made her think. It was the why of her being tired. It never happened before and she didn't know how to deal with that. "I'm drunk... and I don't know what to do."

"Loren and I will help you. Now come on. We're arrived. Few steps and you can sleep."

But when she tried to walk, she almost fell. Not because she had pushed her limits of alcohol, but because she was too tired to walk and it made her embarrassed. Why it was always in front of him? She would love to erase his memory so he couldn't remember what happened.

"Let me take you."

She nodded. There was no way she could walk to the house without falling in the stairs. And for him... she was as light as a feather.

She fell asleep in his big and warm arms. Wow, that was fast. He thought himself. He put her on his bed because it was the closest room and the mattress was the most comfortable.

Sebastian wasn't tired anyway so he looked at his phone to find Joseph. Nothing to help. He looked for few hours before he stopped and went shopping. He saw something that made him think of Layla.

Two little bracelets with a butterfly. Both a little different from each other but subtle. It fitted with her.

"Mister Stan! What's the occasion?"

"I want to buy these for a special girl."

"Is she the little singer her grandparents always talk about?"

"Yes. She's incredibly adorable." And he didn't lie. She was the most adorable human on this whole damn planet.

"What is her name again?"

"Layla, miss Swan." He insisted on her last name.

God, what was her problem? Why all these questions about Layla? He paid the jewelries and left without saying anything. She pissed him off. Why people always needed to ask too many questions about someone they never met?

He hoped he didn't take too long. He really wanted to see her before she leave. When he enter in his home, he smelled the pancakes and heard an angelic voice. It made him smile. Layla was singing an old song. The song his mom used to sing all the time because she loved the movie. You're the one that I want from Olivia Newton John and John Travolta.

"You're in a good mood."

She screamed of fear when she heard him. "Oh god, you scared me. Loren insisted I stayed here. She wanted to check on me."

"Yeah... I maybe mentioned to her you were drunk."

"Oh, okay... Anyway, I thought you would like to eat something since you left and didn't eat."

"You were awake?"

"No. She told me and I told her I would take care of the food." She smiled. She was always smiling. She gave him a plate with two pancakes and fruits. It's was colourful. Just like her. She illuminated his day every time he saw her.

"It's delicious. Where did you learn to cook?"

"My grandparents! Everything I know, they showed me."

"You seem close to them."

"I am. I always been close to them. What about you? Were you close to your parents?"

"To my mom, but like you already know, she passed away when I was fourteen."

She saw in his eyes it was a sensitive subject. She put her hand on his and gave him a comforting smile. "I know we don't really know each other but I'm here if you want to talk."

"Enough about sad stories! I bought you this. I hope you like them."

"Seb! You weren't obligated to do that."when she took the bracelets. "Oh... I mean Sebastian." She said his nickname because she was excited and didn't think at first.

"It's fine. Don't worry." He laughed for the first time. Oh wow. This sound was a melody to her ears.

"I love them! They're wonderful." She gasped as she opened the box. She took one and wore it. She took the one with the three little diamond stones so it was fitting with the necklace. Yes... she wore the necklace everyday. It took a special place in her heart with time.

"I'm glad you like it."

They finished their lunch with a smile on both of their faces. She couldn't believe he bought two beautiful bracelets for her. His attention was so sweet. He did the dishes and she decided they would play to Mario Kart.

"I hope you're ready to lose, Sebastian. Nobody beats me."

"I'm pretty good. You would be surprised doll."

"Not as good as I am."

"Ooh."

They both laughed. Loren saw them and smiled too. It was the first time in a while she was seeing Sebastian having fun. Being happy. She was good for him and Loren hoped silently they would be together. She was the Sun in his darkness.

"Mister Stan, I'll leave to the grocery store. You need anything in particular?"

"I actually do. I want almond milk and caramel syrup."

"Sebastian?" Layla asked confused.

"What? Next time you'll come and want a coffee, I'll have want you like."

"You don't need to."

"But I want, dove." He smiled at the gorgeous woman faced to him. She deserved all in the world and he hoped she knew that. She deserved everything. She deserved to be spoiled.

"Anything else sir?"

"No. Thanks Loren!"

And they were playing to Mario Kart. They had so much fun they didn't see the time passing by. It was already late and he decided she didn't have to work. He called someone else and ordered him to.

"Both of you shouldn't be at work?"

"No! I've decided she stays for dinner."
