Two months and a half has passed since she lost Mary and Eric. She was crying all night long, didn't eat anything or drink... she didn't feel doing anything else than crying and lay in bed. Sebastian didn't know what to do to help her. He was always checking on her. Everyday, every hour... she was drinking a lot too. He needed to stop her otherwise she was drinking until she fell asleep or become sick and even there... she was still drinking. He only wanted to help Layla the best he could but she was always rejecting it.

"Doll, please... you need to eat a little. Just a little. For me."

"I'm not hungry Sebastian."

"Please..."

"I'M NOT HUNGRY!" She restarted crying.

"Okay, okay..." He put the soup on the table. "I'll just put it there if you become hungry." And he left.

She looked at the bowl and made a disgusting face. Why did he care that much about her eating? It wasn't his body. It wasn't his choice. She was able to decide for herself. She was a grown up.

Layla took the bowl and went in the bathroom to put the soup in the toilet. She flushed it and went back to her room. Even her pets didn't put a little bit of joy in her.

Sebastian was in the kitchen wondering how he could make her eat something. She was loosing weight. A lot of weight. He could see it even if she was wearing his shirts.

*********

Hours have passed and Sebastian was almost falling asleep on the table when he heard someone walking quietly in the kitchen. He looked up and saw her. Her eyes fully red and tired.

She looked at him in the eyes. Sebastian got up and walked to her. She hugged him tightly and cried.

"I'm so sorry Sebastian."

"Sorry for what doll?"

"Being a brat."

"You're not a brat." He made her look in his eyes. "You are in pain. Your reaction is totally normal. I'm sorry to force you to do something you don't want to."

"How did you get over your mom's death? It hurts so bad I can't stop crying."

"It takes time but I promise you'll stop crying one day. It'll hurt tho but it'll be less hard then it is now." He wiped her tears and gently kissed her.

"Baby I'm not well at all... i feel dizzy."

"Sit."

She sat on a chair and held her head in her hands. She heard him taking pots and pans before he opened the microwave and reheat something in it.

Layla almost threw up when she smelled the food even if she usually loved it. He put the plate in front of her and ordered her to eat.

"You need to eat or you'll faint."

"But-"

He cut her. "No but. You won't leave the table until you ate."

She groaned and took a small bite of her food. It rolled in her mouth for a while before she swallowed and took another and another until she finished her plate.

"Good."

He took her in bridal mode and went in the bathroom to fill the bath. He helped her and washed her carefully, making sure he wasn't hurting her.

Sebastian dressed her and brought her outside of the house. She protested but he held her hand tightly and pulled her closer to him.

"You need to leave the house baby doll."

"Fine..."

They both walked silently in the fresh air of New York. She could see people looking at her like if she was a weirdo.

"Let them talk, we don't care about them."

"But your reputation..."

"I don't care about my reputation."

They started walking again in silence. She saw an ice cream stand and looked at it for a while. She didn't eat that since a long time. Sebastian saw it and brought her there.

"I'm not hungry.."

"But you looked at it with saliva in the corner of your mouth. We take one. What flavour do you want?"

She looked at the menu. "The brownie with the vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup is tempting" she mumbled.

"Doll what was that?"

"The brownie..."

"With the ice cream and everything?"

"Yeah..."

He looked at her and smiled before asking it for the woman and ordered for himself only a vanilla milkshake. She took the orders and made those in only few minutes. He paid and both walked away.

The lady started eating a little bit her dessert and sighed. It was good, really good but it was like if she was about to throw up at the same time. She finished it without saying anything and threw the box in a garbage.

The CEO brought her to a tulip store knowing she loved the smell of it. They didn't have any cherry blossom store but her second favourite flower was tulip. They had so many variety it was beautiful. All the shades... it was perfect. She sat down on the floor, closed her eyes and smiled when she took a deep breath.

The guy wanted to say something but Sebastian stopped him. He looked at him and made him moved away. If it was the way to make her get out of the house and smiled; he would do it anytime.

It made her forget about all the problems and everything. It was peaceful for a moment, she loved it.

"Thank you."

"For what?"

"Bringing me here."

"Anytime doll." She got up and hugged him. "You want them?"

"Yeah..."

"Choose the ones you prefer and I'll buy them. I won't take a no as an answer."

She started walking around taking light pink, light yellow, light orange... all the light colours and lilac colour too. She ended up with minimum twenty tulips in her hands.

Sebastian bought them and they walked out to his house. He texted his driver while she was choosing the flowers.

The driver drove them in silence to his house and Loren came hugging both of them.

"I feel I didn't see you in a while! How are you doing?"

"Hurt..."

"I'm sorry my dear. Come inside I made tea for both of you."

Layla gave her a sad smile and walked inside. She missed it. She directly went in the kitchen and helped Loren with the tea. She poured three mug and gave one to Loren and one to Sebastian.

"I missed here."

"You can come whenever you want doll."

"I know..."

He kissed her cheek and they all drank their hot drink. Loren started the conversation to Layla and both talked for hours. Sebastian was smiling looking at them. He even thought he saw a smile on her face. It was a real one.

**********

Loren left around 8pm and both were alone.

"Do you mind if I take a glass of wine?"

He looked at her. "Only one?"

"Yes."

"Okay."

He looked at her moving in the kitchen and she took out two glasses. She poured a generous quantity of wine in both and walked back in the living area.

"I wished they had meet Loren before they left."
