Worst Trip Ever

Book 2, Ch. 10||

Chloe's Pov: 

"Worst trip ever! You were lucky you didn't have to go!" I tell my little sis Clara. She doesn't quite get me, she's just eleven, but it's better than nothing. "Why? What happened?" I start explaining the whole trip, not missing one thing. "Woah! What a jerk Andrew. I cant believe Maddie actually ran away!" I nod. "I know! It was full of drama! I wish it had never happened!" I sigh. We keep on talking about many things! I think I never had a conversation this long with her! At least without fighting... "He asked you out?!" I ask eagerly to know if my baby sis has a boyfriend! "Well, not yet... But he said he liked me!" Aww Clara! As much as I'm happy for her, I wish she didnt date him, I mean they are really young and it's probably only going to be a game, but I dont want her to get in all of this love thing. It only makes everything more complicated than it already is. "I'm sure he'll ask you out pretty soon!" I grin. She blushes and then leaves my room. I cant believe she's growing up so fast!! I check my phone to see if someone texted me back! '0 New Messages' . I sigh. I send everyone the exact same text. 'How are you?' But none of them answered. I close my phone and throw it away, hoping I'll never see it again... And of course nothing never goes as planned. In that exact same moment my phone buzzed. I quickly search for it in the direction I throw it. "Got it!" I scream with happiness! I quickly turn it on. I go to messages and I see someone who replied.  

"Fine, I guess." Josh texts me. 

"Really? You can trust me." I text back 

"I'm confused." I decided not to text back cuz I know were this is going. Josh is confused about Maddie and I, I think. I mean, after Maddie said she loved him, he didn't say it back and he had two chances. And then he kissed me. Well, we both kissed each other. But on the other hand he was the one to find out were she had left. AND he gave her that beautiful necklace, so I get were his coming. But what do I feel? I don't like Josh, I think. It's not like it matters cuz even if I liked him, I cant date him. Maddie would hate me! More than she already does! If that's even possible....
