She resisted, pushing Jaeyreong's chest away instinctively, reacting almost immediately. But he wouldn't let go, and that formed the lump of darkness in her mind to a nightmare. She tightened her lips and struggled away, finally resulting to force when she kicked Jaeryeong's leg to stop the horrible kiss.
He flinched back, catching himself in the wall, shocked at the violent reaction he didn't intend to receive, "Jooah. What's wrong?"
She could feel herself burning with all the negative emotions she would have felt that day. He tried to touch her arm to calm her down but she shoved them away, turning to give him the hardest slap without uttering a single word.
His face stinged from the force of her palm. He knew it. It was anger, "It hurts."
Jooah walked past him and swallowed her tears of disgust and pain. "It hurts." She couldn't even scoff or react. She very much wanted to rip his skull off at those two words.
Jaeryeong placed his hand on her shoulder, "Wait-"
She faced back momentarily, and that was when he decided to let go of his hand. It was the last bit of decency he should have.
Her eyes... were bloodshot red. Her tears, glassed her dry eyes that evaporated from the fire, on the brink of breaking down. She didn't know it either, because her anger consumed her. She was angry at Park Jaeryeong. But more than that, she was angry at herself.
She emerged out into a main street where cars parked and people bustled, and walked alone back home under the blooded blazing fiery sunset.
"Hey!" Kitae emerged from one of the alleys long after, reuniting with Jaeryeong who was still standing at the same place, overcame by numbness and a feeling he couldn't comprehend. He didn't know what it was, but he described himself as a rejected piece of scamp.
"Geez you caused such a scene only to be standing here doing nothing? What were you even doing?" The words went in Jaeryeong's right ear and exited through his left ear, none of them permanently sticking to his head.
"Hey Troublemaker Kang Min! Are you even listening? Chunyoung told us to leave you alone but look, now I was right. You did something stupid didn't you? Did you not know how much we all suffered?!" Kitae stomped towards him, but eventually stopped in the realization that Jaeryeong isn't reacting or fighting back as usual.
"What are you staring at?" There's nothing. Just an alley that reached out to another unfamiliar main street.
Their van popped out in his sight and his manager stepped down and slipped it open for him. The fact that he didn't say anything else made the situation alarming. Kitae eyed him carefully and slightly ushered Jaeryeong forward and into the van.
The van was silent once more, with only unspoken loud questions in the head of the members, and a now dejected Jaeryeong looking out at the window once again, simply staring at nothing.
Behind them, another van parked on the side. A man was looking through the images from his digital camera, of Thurzday's van, and Jaeryeong hopping on it. Another man opened the side of the passenger seat, and hopped in with his own digital cameras.
"What did you get?"
"Everything. Kids tend to be more reckless," He showed his camera gallery of Jaeryeong and Jooah's kiss, and then of Jooah's slap.
The driver chuckles, "We can rest easily now, he'll be happy."
Thurzday sung and clapped excitedly on their dinner table, huddling around a fruit cream cake with the "19" candles sitting around the berries. Min spaced out into the fire from the lit candles, "I don't get it."
