"You're all fools to be taken in by her sweet words," said a silky but poisonous voice.

"What???"

"Shen Wei will heal when we all DIE."

Yezun.

"What do you mean?"

"Sister Cheng wouldn't do that to us!"

"She's a good person and only wants to help us."

"We're going to die?"

"Sister Cheng, he's wrong, right?"

"We've been treated as 'problems' and 'issues' until now, and everyone wants us to stop appearing," Yezun spat out. "How much are Shen Wei and President Zhao paying you to get rid of us?" his voice was bitter.

"First of all, the purpose of these sessions are not to 'get rid of you,' as you put it. They're to get to know what's going on in Shen Wei's mind, and in order to do that, I need to get to know all of you and why you exist.

"Second of all, they're not paying any more than the going rate for the sessions, Yezun," replied Sister Cheng. "I was very clear from the start that I am paying the rent for this place so that I can keep it exclusively for all of you. AND, if there is anything left after the rent, I donate it to a small charity. I am not making any profit from this," Sister Cheng firmly said.

"You say you want to help us, but you only want to help Shen Wei," Yezun's voice now had an edge as his expression twisted.

"Helping Shen Wei means helping all of you. You are all part of Shen Wei, and you are each limited to when he is unable to cope or is asleep. When you all become one, you will all be conscious at the same time, able to interject your thoughts and feelings," Sister Cheng explained.

"Maybe Shen Wei is NOT the main personality, like everyone thinks," Yezun said, still not convinced.

"That is a valid question, however, he is. He has been around the longest, and while he had lost all the memories that you all have, he also 'existed' before any of you emerged," Sister Cheng replied. "When you become one with Shen Wei, you will not die; rather, you will truly begin to live."

It was quiet for a while, and then a timid voice.

"I trust Sister Cheng, Yezun." It was Wang Zheng.

"Me, too!" Da Qing chimed in.

"It's hard to have to wait for a turn," Zhu Hong added.

"I can easily protect us all the time now," Brother Chu flexed his fists.

"And we'll never have to go hungry again," Little Guo said happily.

"I-If my stutter is g-gone, people will take m-me seriously," Sang Zang added thoughtfully.

"Maybe we can study medicine a little more, so that we can do more than simple first aid, broaden our horizons," Lin Jing proposed.

"Hmph, you make it sound good, Sister Cheng," Yezun said grudgingly, but there was no hostility in the tone anymore.

"While nothing about the human psyche is 100%, as long as you all agree to this, I do not see any major obstacles, and your integration should go well," Sister Cheng said confidently. "I'll say it again. 'Healing' does not mean 'killing.' You will all become one and not scattered pieces like a puzzle. You will be a cooler person with the name and face of Shen Wei."
