"Shen Wei, your mood swings are giving me whiplash." Zhao Yunlan knew that keeping up with the new CEO of Shen Enterprises would be a challenge.

The bathroom seemed so far away with the floor swaying so much. How much did he drink anyway? Why was he drinking in the first place? He always tried to stay away from alcohol since it sometimes brought on an episode - oh! The dinner with the Minister last night! He had only one drink - he had to take it from the Minister to be polite. What happened after that? And he was still in his clothes from yesterday. He quickly ran to view the videos taken last night, and he groaned as he held his head. The videos showed him drinking and eating in his room all alone, and he was wildly gesturing at times.
He had lost time from last night to this morning.
Shen Wei quickly texted Zhao Yunlan, apologizing for not being up to going with him to the gym. Then he slowly opened his bedroom door, peeking outside, afraid of what he would see. There were times in the past when practically the whole house was in shambles. But this morning, all seemed to be in order, and it was quiet as usual. Hmm, maybe he was able to contain his madness to his bedroom. Feeling a little cheered, he walked into the kitchen to get some breakfast when Jia Qiu, the head of the house staff stopped him and ushered him out.
"Sir, you should not be in the kitchen. I will bring your breakfast out right away, so please wait in the dining room," Jia Qiu bowed as he shut the door behind Shen Wei.

There was that word again - Sir. He always used to go to the kitchen and sneak tastes of the food before they were served, and Old Li, the cook used to playfully scold him. Yesterday he had not done that before going to the office, simply because he had no appetite, knowing what was going to happen in the board room later. And now it looked like he would not be allowed to do that anymore.
He jumped a little as he walked into the dining room and saw President Zhao Xin Chi sitting there, reading a newspaper and drinking coffee. He carefully put down the paper, not making any sudden moves, and studied Shen Wei's face.
"It's me, Shen Wei." He knew Zhao Xin Chi was wondering about his mental state.
"Are you alright?" Zhao Xin Chi asked, relieved.
"I have a hangover, but other than that, I'm much more fine than I deserve to be, considering what I did last night," Shen Wei leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes, disappointed in himself. "Okay, tell me, what happened. How bad was it? All I remember was taking that one drink from the Minister. After that, it's all a blank," he braced himself for the worst.
"Well, first you passed out on the table after taking that first drink. It was a pretty strong wine, and you drank it fast," Zhao Xin Chi started. "Less than a minute later, you woke up, and you joked about how your body is not used to such fine alcohol, so it had gone into shock. You were very personable, and the Minister seemed to like you."
