                                   SIERRA.

It's half past eight and I'm already at school waiting for my friends to come.

I'm still in shock. I mean, I literally woke up earlier than usual and came to school before all my friends and Den. I'm seated in my car sipping my coffee I bought from a Starbucks shop close to school as I go through my notebook with calculus in it. It's not that hard so I'm not that scared and I hope everything turns out okay. I'm still sipping when I hear a knock at my window making me jump and almost spill my coffee on my white shirt. Almost.

I look up to see Denver and I open the door completely, stepping out. We hug and share a light kiss before pulling away to look into each other's eyes.

"Hello beautiful," His smile is boyish and he looks so hot.

"Good morning handsome," I smile cheekily.

"Aren't you two so much in love." I hear Dylan's voice and jump slightly. It's going to take some getting used to to finally be comfortable with knowing that Dylan knows who Den and I really are. I feel exposed around him. So much for the 'no awkwardness.' I scoff inwardly.

"What do you want?" Denver glares making Dylan back up with his hands in the air.

"Woah sorry. I didn't mean to ruffle your neck hairs."

"Just....just go," Den says with a groan.

"I'm going no worries. I hope you're both okay. See ya later." He says before turning and walking away.

"That was unnecessary." I say turning to Denver.

"What?" He asks irritated.

"Why are you so rude to him yet he hasn't done anything wrong?" I ask.

"One, he likes you. I know it. Two, you expect me to just get along with someone I just found out is my step-brother from a man like Willy. Such things need some getting used to Sia. I thought you'd get that." He says before starting to walk away. My gut sinks. He's right, very right. I should be the most understanding person he has right now because neither can I be as comfortable as I was around Dylan like I was before, after finding out everything about him. Here I was busy accusing Denver of being rude. God, I'm so....ugh. I need to talk to him. By now, he's entering the school building and I run after him without caring about what I look like running around in school.

"Den? Denver wait!" I increase my speed but he starts speedwalking. Oh come on.  "Den please?" I increase my speed as fast as my short legs can carry me until he slows down and I catch up.

"Look, I'm really sorry I said those mean things to you. I should  be the one person that understands where you're coming from and I'm sorry I went far. Please." I look at him with huge pleading eyes and he sighs before looking down at me.

"It's okay I get it but if you want, I'll apologise to him. I know I was so stupid to be jealous of him. I know you don't like him." He says with remorse in his eyes.

"Course I don't. I never have and never will. I love you Denver and no one will ever replace you. Not Dylan, not anyone." I say with the utmost sincerity and place my palm on his cheek, which he leans into, sighing in content.

"I'm sorry Sia."

"It's okay, I see where you were coming from." We hug in the middle of the hallways as cheers go around the whole place. I pull back in shock as everyone claps, my friends inclusive. Dylan goes ahead to put his fingers in his mouth and blowing out a whistling sound and I laugh. Denver unexpectedly pulls me back into him and kisses me lovingly making me immediately forget about the audience as I return the kiss. We only separate after the shrill of the bell fills the air and everyone starts to move to class.
