                                       SIERRA.

I am Denver's girlfriend.

Suck on that bitches!

I literally cried when he said all those sweet words to me yesterday. I was a pile of goo and honestly speaking, I love him to death too. Today is the day I'm meant to fly back to California, which I am and thankfully my parents are okay with it. I'm also going back with Denver. #excited. I just hope we use first class so we do not have to sit next to crying kids and stuff no offense. I love kids but crying kids on a plane are definitely something else.

"Sia hurry up! Denver's already here." Mom hollers from downstairs.

"What?" I shriek. Oh no. Denver was supposed to be picking me up and now that he's here, I'm not even ready yet. Fuck. I dash to the bathroom and contemplate showering but that will take ages so I just brush my teeth, wash my face and comb my hair quickly. I'm practically all over the place but thankfully I parked and arranged all my bags last night so all I have left to do is change clothes and grab my phone and charger then I think I'll be done. I work through everything very fast and by the time I'm done doing the above mentioned small things, I'm all sorts of exhausted. I'm so lazy today that I feel like going to the stairs and telling everyone we should postpone our travel to tomorrow or something but that's impossible.

"I'm done. Den, could you please come help with my bags?" I shout from my room. I stand waiting for him to come and he does.

"Hey baby," He greets as he comes over to give me a small kiss and before things escalate, I pull back with a wistful smile.

"Hey you." I greet while biting my lower lip and he groans.

"Tease." I chuckle at that.  "Where are your bags?"

"Over there." I say pointing to the three bags near the door and he nods once before getting to work. He lifts all of them without any effort and I'm left gaping at his muscles. I tried carrying those and admittedly, I did break a sweat. I double check my room if I forgot something but I'm all good to go. Placing my phone in the pocket, I survey my room one last time before leaving and closing the door behind me. It's like that time I was leaving for  California for the first time all over again. Only that this time, I'm not going there a trembling mess. I'm going there a happy girl that now has a boyfriend and friends she loves so much. The girl that can't wait to finally move on and live, actually live and love her life. This time it's not full of jokes or resistance, I'm sure this is going to be a real step forward, away from my past seventeen years and I'm going to live a normal life not the mockery I had been living all along. I'm super excited.

I reach downstairs and mom immediately engulfs me in a hug.

"I'm sorry your father and I can't escort you to the airport this time. Really sorry." She apologises.

"It's okay momma. I have Denver with me." I pull back smiling at her and she smiles back at me. Denver is still outside probably putting my bags in the trunk.

"Sierra, please don't forget about us over here while you're in California. We love you so much even though we've not given you the best childhood and we care about you so please, if anything happens, don't hesitate to call us. Okay?" She asks with teary eyes.

"Okay momma." I nod.

"I wonder what your dad is still doing in the bedroom. Doesn't he know you're leaving?" She scoffs.  "I'll go get him." She turns on her heel and hurries upstairs to get her husband. I chuckle inwardly and turn around when I hear footsteps from outside.

"You ready?" Denver asks.

"I guess but I'm waiting for my parents to come back down." He nods in understanding.
