Tagging in to help carry her, the wound looks terrible but I know this place. But why come here? There is nothing to treat that wound, I then let go of her. Then shut my eyes as I turn to leave.

"Keep safe, I will meet with you in a moment."

"Wait-"

Not waiting to hear anything. I roll my shoulders as I take a deep breath. Stepping forward to see a group of people closing in on us quickly. Then with clenched fists, I start walking to meet them head-on.

Five of them.

I kick the first's leg, as I step forward smashing my face into his. One coming from the side, I lift my elbow jumping to the side, and slamming my metal elbow into his mouth. As he drops backward onto his knees a swift sidekick to his face drops him to the floor.

Blocking the next punch, only for another to connect in my stomach, then another punch I step closer grabbing him around the neck as I throw him over my shoulder and onto the ground. Spinning around instantly as I push my heel against his throat, he then squirms under my weight. Slamming the side of my leg to free himself as I watch the other two run away.

I lift my leg to smash my heel against the side of his head knocking him out cold, I make sure the other two are either unconscious or dead. Either or, it doesn't matter. All that matters is them not following me.

I then walk back to the sign, sliding down the side I drop into a roll. Looking around as I see a lot of people hiding in the shadows. Then turning to the building right under the supermassive sign, I step inside only to realize that Vi was the only one inside.

"Where'd she run off to?" then looking around at the place, nostalgia floods, tears start to well in my eyes.

I lift my mask to wipe them away, just like that regaining my composure. Then turning to Vi, I rest my hand on her shoulder and the other on her wound.

"You look like shit," I remark.

"Want to bet you look worse under that mask?" then with a cough, I could tell she was starting to pass out.

"Hang on, just a bit longer. She should be back soon enough," the wait becomes longer, she was slowly starting to fade away, damnit I can't lose her this quickly after coming back from the dead.

Lifting myself to my feet, I head to the door only for it to burst open with Caitlyn stepping inside with something in her hand.

"Where'd you get that?"

"It's medicine-"

Shimmer. I take a step back readying myself knowing that we don't really have any other choice than to rely on shimmer to save or either kill her. Pouring the contents into her mouth, it almost immediately takes effect as she shoots up instantly.

"Easy, easy, easy," she leans in holding her by the face as Vi whimpers, breathing heavily as their faces are incredibly close to each other.

"We need to get you back on your feet," she slides off quickly, then asks, "What was the name that Sevika gave you? Jinx?"

"Yeah right, how could I forget," she groans as she holds her wound, "You... you knew about this right? You could have told me."

"I told you you wouldn't like what I had to say," then crossing my arms, "Besides, you are probably still thinking she is Powder. Powder is dead, Jinx is a psychopath-"

"Stop it-"

Caitlyn then stops me, "This isn't the time for it."

"She obviously doesn't trust me. I could tell her a lot more than that, I can tell you all the names of my people she slaughtered," then pushing myself off of the wall, "Everyone from back then, they are either dead or changed."

"Then are you going to suddenly tell me that (Y/N) is working for Silco as well?" baring her teeth.

"He is a Revenant. One of my people."

She looks at me confused as Caitlyn explains, "A group of people in the undercity. This is the leader of said group, though-"

She scoffs, "As if he would join a shitty little group of pretenders saying they are fighting Silco but doing nothing," then lifting herself, "If that is the truth, take me to him."

"No."

"Why not?"

"Should the dead really disturb the living?"

I don't know why I am acting like a stranger. I could simply tell her that I am (Y/N) but then again would she believe me. So many things to mention, the promises we made... all those things she wouldn't have forgotten about.

But I don't even care anymore, I am just here for revenge, and then I will keep on fighting till I end up on the floor.

Caitlyn then asks, "What is so important about this (Y/N)?

Vi then says as she glares at me, "A friend, one that I grew up with like a brother. One of the few people that didn't die that day. Now, this little shit is telling me he knows exactly where he is and won't bring me to him."

"Then who's Powder?" she asks. "Jinx?"

"My sister. I thought she died, but no. I have to try and find her along with him," then shooting me a quick hateful glare.

Then we hear something from outside. Vi then walks up to the door, with a deep breath she opens up the door with a soft grunt. Her fists clenched as she steps through revealing Silco with two others.

"Vander's prodigy," I then step out from the door, "I'm afraid I don't know your name. But have met your people."

Then back to Vi, "I've regretted that we never had the opportunity to speak"

"What have you done to my sister?" she takes a few paces forward.

"I've freed her. Candidly, I thought you were the prize of your secondhand family-"

I then muttered, "We need to leave, Vi. Those monsters will rip us to shreds."

"But Jinx. Oh, she is more than I ever imagined,"  the two at his side, then warp into monsters, their bodies viciously shifting as they grow larger in size, "

"I'm going to find her and erase whatever fucked-up delusions you put in her head. But first, I'm going to  bring your bullshit empire down all around you."

"You don't know your limits girl, it's what got Vander killed. What drove your sister away. And that is why I am here now."

She lowers her gaze, lifting her fists, "Yeah well, you talk too much."

She dashes backwards slamming her fist into the metal holding up the silo. Sending it toppling down with a rumble and a roar. I then pull both of them towards the wall, helping each of them up as I climb up after them.

With a crash a boom echoes in my ears, sending a shockwave and a storm of dust all around the area. We all reach the top, Caitlyn grabs my hand lifting me to my feet as I dash after the two of them. As we reach the streets, in the distance a blue signal flare.

And with it, my heart screams. Wanting to stop her from ever seeing what she has become. But she was too fast, all I could do was follow and hope that nothing would happen.
