Really... I groan to myself as the Enforcers are patrolling the bridge. Progress day isn't even here yet and they are trying their best to make sure that we don't get up with any of our shenanigans.

As if children can do much these days, I pull my mask off and hide inside my jacket. Preparing myself knowing that turning back is going to be my only option... best to just ignore them as long as I can till they start trying to beat sense into me.

An enforcer stops me, holding his hand out towards me, "I'd suggest turning back."

I then look at the other bridges, "I don't want to have to go back to the other bridge and try my luck again," saying with a deadpan expression, "Besides there are other ways to get in, I could always take a dip in the water but then I'd dirty the streets even more."

"Kiramman," he growls, "Don't got time to deal with this one."

I the counter, "Had time to stop me."

"Before I have to throw him back into the undercity," he steps away as he returns back to what he was busy with.

A woman with blue hair approaches me, "What is the problem, sir?" he ignores her as her gaze is locked onto my person.

I watch her face for a moment before stating, "Dunno. Got stopped for no reason."

Looking me up and down, "You look fairly suspicious, though what is it you plan to do in Piltover? May I see your face?"

"A friend," I pull the hood off my head, "Should be enough to let me on through right? If something happens then you can pin the blame on the face. Just got to find me down there," I gesture to the undercity, "Or do you intend on me not showing and keep them waiting? It would be in terrible taste to not show if I was invited."

Giving me the side-eye as she crosses her arms over her chest, "Not so sure if I should- but go along."

"Won't even know I was there," I pull my hood back over my head, "See ya around, Kiramman."

I almost have a feeling she is still watching me, letting me through this far. Her superiors couldn't give a shit as long as they get to reach their progress day without a hitch, the build-up is what matters but a patrol being all the way here doesn't make all that much sense.

I had hoped the bridge to be empty.

I turn my first corner into the smaller alleyways, watching the windows as to hint where I might need to go. Though all things considered I'd rather have much better searching in places I am definitely not allowed to be in.

That is the case nine times out of ten.

I glance over my shoulder, noticing that I have a little shadow. Maybe I am as suspicious as I look, I lower myself as I ready myself to head into a sprint. Then start dashing immediately, I crash against the wall, pushing myself into the next direction trying to give myself a burst of speed.

I slide into an opening, noticing I don't really have anywhere to go. I rest against the wall with crossed arms with the full intention to play it off as best as I can.

I see the enforcer chasing me, turning into the next corner I speak up, "I don't think he went that way."

Catching her breath as she comes to a halt, turning around with an annoyed expression, pacing her words with each breath, "Why... why did you run away?"

"Noticed that a little girl scout was following me around,"  then tilting my head to the side, "It isn't nice to skulk and meddle with someone else's business you know?"

"Can't the same be said for you," taking another breath, "Aren't you keeping your 'friend' waiting?"

I chuckle, "They have been waiting for a while already, so my want to rush is gone," then with a sigh, "So? Going to tell me why you thought that I was any worth chasing?"

Her gaze drops to the arm I am hiding under a cloak, "What are you hiding under that?"

"My arm?" I reveal it, still covered up.

"Why the secrecy?" she counters easily, closing the distance with a fierce gaze, I manage to shift the mask to my back, "The cloak, the way you walk it screams that you are hiding something."

Rubbing my eyes with my two fingers, "Don't you think you are looking too deeply into a harmless-"

"You don't look nearly as harmless as you think you are."

Can't catch a break. This woman is surprisingly relentless and well... she has a good sense of spotting whether or not something is wrong.

"Listen, little shadow if I wanted to lose you, I could have. Instead, I am possibly wasting your time or just created the perfect opening to let someone else escape-" she lifts her gun almost immediately in response, I don't move at all, staring her down as she shoots me her glare.

"What are you doing here?"

"Want to walk me?" I then offer, "You get to see what I came for and with that, you can always escort me back to the undercity yourself. Might just get to pick my brain about anything you want."

She nods slowly, lowering her gun, then gesturing for me to move first.

Then shaking my head, "What's your name, Kiramman?"

"Caitlyn."

Then stepping forward, she followed me close by her rifle now folded onto her back. That thing unfolds rather quickly but I can tell she doesn't trust me completely... just need to make an opening and disappear that way.

Should be a steam valve somewhere...

"What do you do in the undercity..." she pauses as if she wanted to ask my name.

"Deadman."

"Deadmen?"
(due to accent it sounds like this)

"The accent makes it sound a lot better," she furrows her brow at me, "I don't control what goes on in my parents' heads."

She lifts her shoulders, pulling her gaze away as if to suggest that she didn't mean to question how we name things. Well... not my first choice of a name change but it stuck after a while, so just like that it grew on me.

I then stare at the palms of my hand, "I am just a nobody. Like a ghost," then resting it on a valve, "So do well to forget I even existed-" I pull it off, steam bursts through, it burns through the cloth of my arm as I dash forward leaving her behind.

I immediately scale the building, watching her from above after finding a path around the steam. Cursing to herself as she throws a mini-tantrum.

Now back to business.
