"Thanks for your cooperation," I wipe the blood from my lip as I put on the enforcer that I had to beat the shit out of for my disguise for the day.
There has been an explosive fight already, the enforcers are already on the scene and I myself can't wait to see what happened. If I had to guess all my answers would lead to smuggling shimmer and it was guarded by his personal lackeys.
Walking past everyone I climb aboard the airship, bullet holes and burnt barrels with traces of crystallization. Firelights? Bullet casings, a gunfight? Don't expect the Firelights to ever let it come down to it.
I wouldn't be surprised if all of them got here and messed up their day - these enforcers are pretty easy to convince... either appeal to their nature and morals... or money.
I glance at a familiar painting, the art style, a hatch leading downward. Jinx... that would explain why everything looks like it has gone to shit. Lifting myself to my feet I consider dropping down only to be stopped.
"What are you doing?"
"Inspecting, Sherrif," I state, then noticing a rummaging in the lower deck, "I thought I heard someone on board so I made sure to look around."
He nods, then climbing down I follow the three of them down to see Caitlyn crouched down near someone. Hovering behind I wear a glare, knowing that I can just kill him right now and it would just be such a detriment to their operations but then again... it would mean I would end up in Stillwater, or dead.
"Caitlyn Kiramman, why does that not surprise me? Interfering in an investigation, again. You're supposed to be guarding your mother's tent."
He walks to the side with his arms folded behind his back, eyes locked onto her.
"I was, Sherrif, but she doesn't need it. And clearly, this takes priority-"
He counters, "I realize that you are used to getting your way, Kiramman, but we have a chain of command for a reason."
Still in the little hole, "I understand," then lifting herself to her feet, "But there is more going on here than just the smuggling. If I could just question him I could-"
He then stops her, "I'll take it from here," too bad it had to be him stopping you, "Since you are looking for more work, you can do the graveyard shift tonight at the fair."
Rightfully pissed, she only lowers her head, "Yes, sir."
"Good. I want this one on a boat to Stillwater prison,"
The one enforcer salutes him, "Yes, sir."
I hover in place as I turn to her, offering my hand to help her out only for her to ignore my gesture and help herself out. Stepping past me I follow closely as I whisper to her.
"No need to be rude, I didn't tell you to leave."
"Wait-" she walks slower, keeping her voice down, "Why are you here... how did you get that uniform?"
"It makes you wonder who else isn't really an enforcer, makes you wonder who is really on your side," I then state, "Be careful, knowing that something like this happened it might just blow up in your face later."
She grabs me by the arm, "Wait what do you intend on doing-"
"I will inform you of my findings later," then walking away, "Get to work, sh- Kiramman," trying to keep up my facade and slipping up almost tremendously.

Sitting on the roof, the sun has set and I have little to show for it. But I know now that they are accelerating their movements quite a bit - this batch was larger than anything we kicked over so it must mean they were hoping it would be successful.
Good thing Jinx jinxed it for them, I shake my head at the thought, not a guarantee that this all happened because of her. The Firelights are efficient.
Glancing at the new mask I made, I dangle my feet over the edge as I keep watch for a bit longer before wanting to disappear from this place. There is exactly no reason to waste my time, but I might as well get going - the lack of anything happening is beyond my expectations, at this rate I'd have a better chance walking around asking for shimmer.
A sudden quake, a boom echoing through the air. My eyes widen as I jump off the side of the building, grabbing a ledge with my arm to help absorb some of the impact before I land into a roll. Dashing forward I fix the new mask to my face, sprinting towards the explosion.
Watching a blue head slide into the building, I glance towards the explosion. Heading there I see Caitlyn on the floor, still somewhat conscious I slide next to her side. A few wounds but nothing major.
"You'll live," I sigh, then lifting her out of the way into a somewhat safer place where they would still be able to find her.
A group of enforcers roll up on the explosion, I look back at her noticing that she was unconscious. Shutting my eyes tightly I clench my fist as I dash towards the door, heading after that psychopath.
Running through the door with my shoulder, dashing through the hallways only to hear a snap. I jump into the air covering my chest with my arms as another explosion triggers inside the hall. Before landing, the shockwave carries me into the next wall.
My senses are knocked out of me, I shake my head as I feel the back of my headaches with excruciating pain.
The last thing I hear before seemingly losing my consciousness, a giggle leading into manic laughter. I bite down on my lip, slamming my fist into the ground as the pain sends a shock through my body and clears some of the haze from my vision.
Despite managing to cling to what little focus I have, I drag myself through the halls slowly and to a window. Breaking it open with my elbow I through myself out of it, grabbing at the edge as I drop as I look down to realize that the drop isn't that far.
Falling down, I take a time to catch my breath.
"Feeling like the dead doesn't become any easier," I inspect my body for nails or shrapnel, luckily I jumped far enough only for the shockwave to carry me into the next wall, "I should have expected her to do that... I should have learned," I groan as I shut my eyes.
Then pulling on one of my necklaces, pressing a button as I take a final breath. My mind faded into nothingness.
