Chapter Thiry Nine - Another School AU Cause Why Not

Will sat his way through a grueling period of math. Watching the clock tick by, waiting and waiting.

Tick-tock, tick-tock, over and over.

Will was just vibing, thinking about all the random shit that happened the previous day.

He had faced timed Nico, he had to explain the steps of how to turn on the mic from the other side of the phone. Nico had his face so close to the phone, all you could see was his nose, eyes, and eyebrows. Will chuckled just thinking about it. It was literally an old man with glasses, it was funnier because Nico had to set his phone down to go get his glasses. 

He then had the grandpa look; the phone so far away from his face, the glasses at the lower bridge of his nose, open mouth, and squinted eyes. Will was trying so hard not to laugh in the middle of his math test. The silent chuckles with the intense shaking that indicated he was laughing but silently. 

He was glad he was going to have another phone call with Nico tonight, they fell asleep on face time the previous night.

Once the period was over Will chatted with some friends in the hallways during the passing period. Just in the ends next to the lockers rather than in the middle of the hallway like some assholes do. (God Damn I hate it when people do that I'm like walk bitches I'm trying to get to Ceramics. Ong) 

"That math test was a pain," Will complained.

"You seemed just fine to me." one of his friends laughed. "You were laughing so hard you almost couldn't concentrate."

Will laughed again, "Come on, I was thinking about something funny."

"What was it?"

"I was on facetime last night with my significant other and they fell asleep on face time. But before that, it was funny watching them trying to work a phone." Will used gender-neutral pronouns when speaking about Nico because he wasn't quite ready to tell his friends he was gay. 

He's had girlfriends but they also know that he's heavily flirted with men. They've questioned it but no one has said anything?

"Your boyfriend?" one laughed. 

Will cleared his throat and stopped smiling, "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing," the friend laughed nervously. "You usually say Nico when you're addressing your significant other. Nico is more of a male name unless you mean Nicole and you call her Nico."

Will gave in, if Josh accepted the fact that he could have a boyfriend, he doesn't really care. Will sighed and said; "Yes, my boyfriend."

"Really? I was right? Fuck yeah! I told you, Kenneth, now you owe me 20 bucks and a 10peice chicken nugget."

"Did you really bet 20$ and 20 chicken nuggets that I was gay?"

"Uh... maybe?" Josh laughed.

"Damn your assholes." Will laughed with Josh and Kenneth.

"So, can we meet him?" Josh asked.

"I'm not sure, but I'll see if he's available during lunch to come over. We have about a minute before class starts so I'll see you later." Will gave his friends a fist bump and went on his way.

By the time 5th period rolled around, Will was ready to talk to Nico. He gave him a quick face time, starting his call right as he walked out of his 4th-period doors. It took Nico a solid four minutes to answer and even then when the phone call was opened he was yelling at Jason saying that the magic box was ringing.
