Will's pov:

I sat on the couch ready for the long night ahead of me. I had an important business meeting with a member of the board of medicine. He's in a time zone way ahead of mine, I'm not sure where but I had to wait till midnight before we could begin. I suppose it'd be midday or early morning where she is.

Nico wanted to stay up waiting with me so we decided to watch a movie as we waited. He made dinner and I made the dessert. "Why do you have to stay up so late?" Nico whined trying to pull me into bed.

"I have to do what the member wants if I want to get on their good side. If all goes well then I'll get a good job in the city, maybe somewhere out of the country."

"But I can't fly remember."

"But you can shadow travel."

"Really?" Nico asked happily.

"Yup." I replied kissing the tip of his nose.

Nico finally managed to pull me into the bed. "Now your never leaving."

"Nico," I laughed, "Come on I have the meeting soon."

"How much time do you have?"

"It's eleven-thirty. I have half an hour and I need coffee."

Nico laughed, "We can finish in less than that."

Nico said placing a kiss on my lips. I gave in and deepened the kiss, he rolled over on the bed t0 where he was straddling me. We pulled away looking at eachother, as much as I wanted to be super ready I super wanted to be with Nico. He kissed down from the corner of my lip down across my chin to my neck and behind my ear. Leaving a trail of kisses behind, I caught my breath. I could practically hear Nico smirk at the sound.

This time, I rolled him over and pinned him down. Blankets curled around us as we kept kissing. I looked down at Nico who was breathing heavily. I would like to say we did more than make out but thats not true.

There was a ding on the computer I was going to use and I knew it was my 5 minute warning. Damn, I guess I didn't have enough time. I got off Nico and quickly got dressed into proper clothing. I fixed my hair the best I could so it doesn't look like I just made out.

Nico groaned as I got up making me laugh, I placed a kiss on his nose. "I'll see you later sunshine."

"Damn it Will, next time start things you can finish."

"You know it." I winked before leaving our bedroom. I went to the kitchen and realized I didn't have time to make coffee.

I groaned and ran a hand through my hair. I am not getting up till lunchtime tomorrow. I joined the video that Dr. Cortez wanted me to join. It seemed as though I was right, there was sun shining through her windows.

"Hello, how are you?"

"I'm good thank you. How do you do?"

"I'm great, the weather is beautiful over here." she laughed, "anyway I'd like to talk to you about the future of my hospital."

"Of course, I had a couple ideas about-"

"- William, your coffee. Here." Nico said walking up to me with a coffee mug.

"oh thank you." I replied. I had the computer on the coffee table, which meant Dr. Cortez saw the couch and behind me as well. She saw Nico who grabbed a pillow and laid his head against my lap.

"Um whatcha doin'?"

"I'm going to sleep, either I sleep on your lap or I'm not sleeping and you know what happens when I don't sleep."

"Nico I-"

"It's quite okay Dr.Solace, let him sleep. My husband is the same why during long work nights."

"Hush William, I shall lay here and there's nothing you can do about it."

I sighed and rolled my eyes. "Whatever death breath," I said running a hand through his hair.

The night went on and Nico soon fell asleep in my lap. I occasionally - accidentally of course - hit Nico with my hand, I spoke with my hands a lot. He just grumbled and continued on with his sleep which caused Dr. Cortez to laugh.

It was nearly three am when the meeting was over. I carefully shut the computer and picked a sleeping Nico up. I carried him into our room and set him down on the bed. I saw him feel around for me on the bed so I quickly changed my clothes and laid in bed with him.

His hair was messed and in his face. locks of his hair spiraling and tangling together. Moving on, Nico clung to me like a koala once I laid in bed. It was strangely comforting to fall asleep to after a long nights work. I'm not waking up until noon, screw work, I'm sleeping.
