I kept chasing the girl while she ran, never stopping. I was yelling at her to stop, but she didn't. Soon we came across a big area of water and the girl jumped in. I was looking around for her, but she never came back up.
I walked back to the hotel and noticed everone was looking around for something.
"What are you looking for?" I asked Alex.
"McKenna, where were you?!" he yelled. I stepped back.
"Chasing a girl that rang our doorbell."
"What are you talking about? We are in a hotel. There aren't any doorbell's in hotels." I tried to show him where the door bell was, but when I went to the door there wasn't a doorbell.
WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!?!
*ZAYN'S POV*
"You guys, I'm really worried about McKenna." I told the other boys in the room with me. Sam took McKenna down to the pool so we could talk about this. "Ever since the concert she's been acting odd."
"Yeah, I noticed." Austin said sarcastically. "Do you think it could be from seperation anxiety?"
"Probably. I think we should take her into the hospital." Liam said cautiously. All of us knew that's what needed to be done, but none of us wanted to be the one to admit it.
"I'll go down to the pool and get them." Niall said as he stood up. I nodded and he walked out.
*AUSTIN'S POV*
My girlfriend is seeing things. She's going to the hospital. How could I let something like this happen? I'm the worst boyfriend in the history of boyfriends. We were in a taxi on the way to the hospital. Everyone knew what was going on except for McKenna. She didn't know where we were going, but she never asked.
*MCKENNA'S POV*
Were going to the hospital. No, that's a lie. I'M going to the hospital. They think I'm crazy. I'm just dragging them down, they need to keep going on tour without me. Whenever I try to tell them that nothing in the world is wrong they think I'm lying to them, but I'm not, right? We got to the hospital and they checked me in. We waited in silence for about 15 minutes before I got called back to a room. I insisted that I go alone.
"So, McKenna, how have you been?" the doctor - Mrs. Addams - asked.
"Pretty good. Honestly, I dont see why my friends think something is wrong." I told her.
"Try seeing things from their point of veiw. Now, is it alright if I ask you a few questions?"
"I suppose so."
"Okay:
1. What type of things are you seeing?
2. How long has it been going on?
3. Are they phisical things - do they make noise, touch you, or can you touch them?" she asked.
I replied with:
"1. My bullies, my parents, and random people.
2. I'm not sure.
3. they make noise" she wrote down what I was saying and then she excused herself. She came back a while later and told me that I have to move rooms. She led me into the hall, down two flights of stairs, and into a house-like area.
"McKenna, I need you to stay here for a while. You'll have your own room, there will be meals that everyone will eat together, and other than that your free to do what you want unless it becomes violent. Your friends are on their way back right now with your phone, clothes, and other personal items. You can go look around now." she told me. I looked around from the place I had been standing and saw about 10 girls around the large room. in the right corner of the room was a flat screen t.v. where 2 girls were playing Just Dance, there was a room off to the left with a glass wall that you could see a few girls doing yoga, and then there was another t.v. on the oppisite side of the room than the one I mentioned earlier with girls sitting in bean-bags watching Spongebob. The place didnt look bad. There was beautiful red carpet and good lighting - not that the lighting really has to do with anything. I walked down the first hallway I saw and saw a few doors. They had names on it like:
*Brittney
*Sophie
*Dessie
*Sarah
*Dani
*Ryan
*Stacy
I kept walking and saw a door with my name on it. I knocked unaware that the room was mine. When nobody answered I opened the door a crack and looked around.
"Can I help you with anything?" a girl asked from behind me. I jumped out of suprise and turned around to face her.
"Hi, I'm McKenna. I just got here and I wasn't sure if this room was mine or a different McKenna's." I explained to her.
"Well, hi McKenna! I'm Danielle, but you can call me Dani. This is my room and as far as I know that is yours. That room used to be empty." she said brightly. She looked around my age. Maybe a year younger.
"Oh, okay. I guess its safe to go in then." I opened the door and stepped inside. It had pink walls, a white fluffy blanket on the bed, a white vanity by the window, I also noticed that the closet was white and covered in pink hearts. As I got closer I realized that the hearts were glued on (probably with a hot glue gun) and they had writing in them. I started reading them and I was starting to get confused. Here's what a few said:
We love you, just like everyone else - Ryan
Were all in this together - Sarah
Don't give up on yourself - Dani
Be the bigger person - Sophie
Your a beautiful person McKenna - Julia
You are awesome at singing! - Brittney
"We know who you are. Here at the hospital. We really look up to you." Dani said from behind me. I didnt know she followed me in.
"They know me because I'm dating Austin Mahone?" I asked.
"No, they like you because they found out you have a freckle on your butt. Yes they like you because your dating Austin!"
"How did you know I have a freckle on my butt?" I asked with my eye brow raised. I honestly do.
"Lucky guess."
"Well I need to say something nice to all of them!" I said as I cut out hearts out of pink paper that someone left in my room. I cut out 50 and wrote something nice on all of them. Sure, I dont know who I'm giving them to, but a compliment isnt gonna hurt anyone.
On the doors of the rooms the girls have a slip that says if they are in there or not. I made sure everyone was out of their room and I walked in and stuck the heart with super glue on the top left corner of everyones mirror on their vanity. I noticed that everyone's room looked the same - set up I mean -, but everyone's walls and blankets were different colors and everyone had a different vanity. Later on I found out that your friends and family decorate it for you before you come, or they describe you and the people at the hospital work on it.
After leaving everyone a nice compliment I walked back in my room and picked up the wall-phone that was painted pink. I dialed one which is the number if you need help with something in the hospital.
"Hello?" Some lady asked.
"Hi. My name is McKenna and I was wondering how long I'm staying here in the basement area of the hospital?" I told her
"Okay, are you in the phisical or mental section?"
"Um... mental." I wasnt sure, but it was an eduacated guess.
"McKenna...." she trailed off. Probably reminding me that she was still there. "you are staying for a month, but if you dont recover or cooperate then you stay longer." you could tell she was reading off of a computer.
"Alright, thank you." I said before hanging up.
Looks like this is my new home for at least a month.
Lets hope I have fun so time will fly by.
