What Is Going On?!?!

I woke up in my room covered in my blankets with an ice pack on my head. What’s going on? Why aren’t I at school like I should be?

“Mooooommmm? Daaaaaaaddddd?” All I wanted to know is WHAT IS GOING ON? My parents walked into my room very quickly. Immediately they started shooting questions at me.

“What happened at school? Are you feeling okay? Are you to hot, or are you to cold? You’re probably too hot. Want me to take the blanket off of you? Who’s Amber? Who are Austin and Alex?” I stopped them there. Did they say something about Austin?

“Austin?” I am sooo confused!

“Yeah, there is a boy in the living room named Austin. He brought his friend Alex saying that they needed to talk to you RIGHT away.” My mom explained

“He’s here?” Why would Austin want to talk to me? We’ve only said like 20 words to each other.

“Yeah he’s here. Are you sure you feel okay?”

“Yeah I feel fine.”

“What happened at school?” My parents looked REALLY worried. I wonder how many ugly bruises I have on my face.

“I’ll explain later. Can I talk to Austin and Alex?” without saying a word each of my parents walked out and Austin and Alex? entered.

“McKenna! Thank goodness you’re alive! I thought you died!” Austin said right when he walked in.  I never really noticed what Austin looked like. I was too busy arguing with him. Now that I get a chance to see him I realize that he is quite good looking. He has straight brown hair and he is quite tall. He also has brown eyes. Then I noticed Alex. He is kind of short and he also has brown eyes with brown hair.

“I’m glad I’m alive too Austin.” He chuckled. I looked over at Alex. “Hi, I’m McKenna.” I said standing up so I could shake his hand. I felt a little dizzy at first, but then I felt fine. “Are you a friend of Austin’s?” he also stood up. They had been sitting on my floor. He didn’t say anything, just nodded. He reached out to shake my hand, but I pushed it away and hugged him instead. He tensed at first, but then hugged me back. “Don’t let him go. You’re lucky to have a friend as good as him.” I whispered into his ear. He laughed and then replied with “I know.”

“So what did you guys come here for?” I asked while sitting down on my bed. I got up almost instantly after I sat down and pulled out two bean bags from under my bed. Alex and Austin each claimed one.

“Well, after you passed out I had no idea what to do. I noticed you had a phone in your pocket so I took it and called your parents telling them that you passed out – I didn’t know if you wanted them knowing the full story – and they came to pick you up. All that I want to know now is why you and that girl were fighting?” He also looked really concerned along with Alex, and my parents that were previously in my room. I can’t tell Austin the truth! What if he tells someone else? I guess that I will have to lie and then learn to trust him. Then MAYBE I will tell him the truth ß Scratch that. I will NEVER tell anyone the truth about my life.

“OHH! That’s actually a REALLY funny story! You see, me and that girl are THE BEST of friends. At least once a week we have a game of who can beat the other one the most. Obviously, the other girl – Amber – won the game. I passed out.” God that was SUCH a lie! I hope they believe it… They looked REALLY confused. They looked back and forth from each other, and then back to me.

“So…” Austin started

“It was…” Alex said adding on to what Austin said

“A game!” I said cheerfully. Wow! I’m surprised I’m not an actor, because I am freaky good! “Any more questions?” I asked standing up. They slowly stood up together. They both looked at each other.

“Only one.” They both took a huge step toward me. Wow, they are so cute!

“And what’s that ONE question?” I took a step back. They took another step toward me.

“ARE YOU READY?!” They both yelled. They lifted me up and ran out of my room.

“WERE OFF TO THE PARK!!” Austin yelled to my parents as they carried me out the door WHILE RUNNING!

“Boys! Put me down! NOW!!!” I yelled. We got a lot of weird looks while they ran me to the park. The park is HUGE! There is a GIANT yard and then a matching GIANT park. There is golf, picnics and a pond. When we got to the huge weeping willow tree they gently set me down on the ground.

“Okay now I have one question. WHY DID YOU JUST KIDDNAPP ME FROM MY HOUSE?!?!” I’m calm on the outside – I hope – but freaking out on the inside.

“Now you can tell us the truth without worrying about your parents hearing.” Austin said sweetly. I have to admit that it was clever to kidnap me and bring me to a place that you don’t to worry.

“Tell you the truth about wh – Oh god. I’m sorry, but I can’t tell you. What if you guys tell someone else?” They both laughed. What’s so funny?!

“Dude, who would we tell? Our imaginary friends?!” Alex said when he stopped laughing, but he soon started again.

“What do you mean?”

“The only people that we talk to are each other and our friend Robert. Well, you know. Now we talk to you also.”

“I know but I still can’t tell you. I barely know you!”

“PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEA-“   They said together

“FINE!”

Ohh this is gonna be the hardest thing ever. If they tell ANYONE they are dead and so am I, but of course I will kill them first.(:
