*TWO WEEKS LATER MCKENNAS POV*

I was making a smoothie when I heard a knock on my door.

I opened the door to see Austin standing there. Austin. The one who cheated on me. Broke my heart.

"McKenna, I'm so sorry. I didn't us to end up this way." Austin told me.

"You didn't text or call or anything for two whole weeks, Austin. Obviously I don't matter enough to you because you didn't do anything to try to get me back." I spat at him as I was closing the door.

"McKenna wait!" Austin put his foot in the crack of the door. "I'm sorry. I love you, I really do."

"Yeah, and you love that other girl too." I pushed him away and closed the door. I slid down against the door and sighed as I heard Austin pacing outside the door.

"McKenna, I love you and I'm sorry. You have to understand that!" Austin yelled through the door.

"Do you even understand where I'm coming from?!" I said as I yanked the door open to see him standing there surprised. "Do you even know what it's like to feel like your the only one and that someone loves you just as much as you love them, but then you find out that your wrong? You find out that they only love you half as much as you love them, because the other half of their love is on someone else. And that broke my heart Austin! But I bet your just fine." I said harshly trying not to cry in front of him.

"McKenna, I don't even like her. I was gonna break up with her that very night!" Austin yelled angrily.

"Yeah, exactly. You WERE gonna break up with her THAT NIGHT, but you didn't. Did you." Austin nervously scratched the back of his neck. "Ha, that's what I though."

"I'm sorry. I'm gonna make everything better!" Austin yelled hopefully as I shut the door once again.

I walked back to the kitchen finishing my smoothie making.

"Was that Austin?" Dani asked as she came down the stairs from the room we now share.

"Yeah, but he didn't have anything important to say." I told her trying to sound calm.

"McKenna, maybe you should give him a chance. Everybody makes mistakes." Dani whispered.

"But he cheated on me, how am I supposed to trust him ever again."

"Only time will tell." Dani whispered like a person from a movie and she walked backward up the stairs.

Only time will tell? Ha, yeah right.

That night

"I'm coming home, I'm coming home. Tell the world I'm coming home. Let the rain wash away all the pain of- Austin?" I sang, then whispered as I closed the curtains to the living room window. As I peered out the window I saw Austin sitting on my front steps, trying to sleep.

A few minutes after I saw him I decided to go out there.

I walked quietly out the front door with a blanket feeling the chilly air blow on my face. I sat down next to a shivering Austin wrapping my arms and the blanket around him.

"I'm sorry." He whispered as a tear trickled down his face.

"Me too." I whispered back as I felt a tear go down my face from seeing him cry. "C'mon." I pulled him up and we walked into the house together and to the couch. "Stay here." I ran up the stairs to grab a heating blanket then ran down the stairs again, covering Austin with the blanket.

"Go to sleep." I whispered as I walked away.

"Stay with me. I'm afraid." Austin said back reaching for my hand.

"Afraid of what?"

"The fangirls." Austin whispered in fake horror.

"Fine, I'll stay." I crawled onto the couch next to him. "But this doesn't mean your fully forgiven."

"Fine with me." Austin replied before we both fell asleep.
