"This is the building I saw in the background of the picture." I said to Dani as we pulled up to the bar.

"Alright, lets go in." Dani said as she got out of the car, motioning for me to follow.

"Dani, were only 16 and 17." I reminded her.

"So your telling me that your gonna let how OLD you are determine weather we find out if your parents are alive? McKenna. Eat a Snickers bar. Your not you when your hungry."

"Your right. I just swallowed the Snickers, lets rock." I got out of the car and ran to the front door of the bar.

Locked.

Out of buisness.

"It's locked. Do you see a window anywhere?" I asked Dani.

We searched the building for a while until we found a small window in the back, close to the ground.

It was just big enough for me and Dani to squeeze through single file.

"Dani, I'm kind of scared." I whispered as we looked at the dimly lit room we were now standing in.

"We're fine, look for a light switch." Dani replied calmly.

After about two minutes of searching I found a light switch and clicked it on.

The room was empty.

"Dang it Dani, they probably aren't here." I whispered sadly.

"Never give up." Dani replied as she opened a door "follow me."

I followed Dani out of the room and into a hallway with a stair case at the end of it.

"C'mon." Dani said as she made a gun with her fingers, me doing the same, and walking up the creaky staircase.

"McKenna, come over here." Dani whispered scarily quieter than before.

I walked over to where Dani was and looked into a crack in a door.

Nobody. WAIT!

There is somebody in the room. One person, that I don't recognize.

She looked in her late thirty's, blind folded and chained by her feet and hands to a wall.

She was scarily skinny, and she looked like she was gonna die any minute.

"C'mon lets check on the girl!" Me and Dani heard a man say loudly from down the hall.

Me and Dani quietly ran down the staircase, and climbed out the window, running back to the car.

"Dani, that was crazy." I said, panting, as I started the car.

"We have to go back." Dani said as she stared straight ahead. "We can't leave that girl there.

She's a prisoner."
