*Still Zayn's POV*

"McKenna, could you go a bit faster. BUT DONT LOOK UP." I said as calmly as possible.

"Zayn, I'm so scared I don't even know what to do." McKenna replied.

"It's okay. Just climb as fast as possible, and I then I'll figure this out." I looked up and the shooter was about 20 feet infront of us, which when you think about it, isn't that far.

I guess I didn't realize how close we were to the ground because when I took another step down I started to stumble backwards until McKenna caught me.

"ZAYN WHAT DO WE DO?!" McKenna yelled as she ran around in circles.

"Come on." I said to her as I jerked her torward a random car with a person in it. "SIR, THERE IS A SHOOTER OUT HERE AND WE NEED HELP!!!" I yelled as I banged on the car windows. The guy in the car looked up at me and scowled and then he tried to drive away, but I opened the car door, threw him out and got in the front seat while McKenna got in the back seat. I know it sounds really mean and harsh, but I couldn't let us get killed.

"McKenna, lay down just in case something happens." I instructed McKenna. I looked over at the escape ladder and the man was on the ground running torward the car were in. I hit the gas as fast as I could and started driving. "Call 911" I said as I tossed my phone to McKenna.

"911, what is your emergancy?" a lady on the phone said. Apparently McKenna put it on speaker.

"Ma'am there is a shooting at the ************* hotel. We just escaped the shooter, but he might be following us. Please send an ambulance to the hotel. He has shot some people." I heard McKenna say.

"Okay, stay on the phone with me. Are you positive that the man is following you?"

"Yes! He is right behind us in a car!" McKenna yelled annoyed.

"McKenna, calm down." I told her.

I saw an ambulance pull up to the hotel when I was looking in the rear-veiw mirror. The man was definitly following us, but there weren't any police. All of a sudden the car stopped in the middle of the road and it wouldn''t move another inch. I looked at the gas flow and it was empty. Great.

"McKenna, lets go." I said quickly. She nodded and got out of the car. I realized that the lady on the phone hung up, but whatever.

I grabbed McKenna's wrist and pulled her into a house that was right next to us. I know its dangerous, what else could I have done though?

"Hello?" I called. Nobody answered. "HELLO?" I yelled.

"What are you doing in my house?" An old woman asked as she stepped out from a door.

"Please help us. We were just in a hotel where they were shooting, and now the shooter is following us, but we don't know where he is right now. You have to call 911." I told her quickly. She nodded and pulled us into a kitchen where she dialed 911 and within mintues there were police knocking on the door.

McKenna ran to the door and pulled one of the officers into a bear hug.

"Thank you so much." She said through her tears.

"Ma'am we just arrested a man that had been looking through your windows. Do you think he might've been the shooter?" The police man asked her. She nodded quickly and asked to see him. "You can see him at the police station when you tell us what happened. Now you two, lets go."

Me and McKenna got in the back of the police car and they asked if we wanted to call anyone and imform them about what happened.

*McKenna's POV*

Zayn decided to call Liam before I could say anything, but I guess thats okay.

"Liam?... Yeah, I'm sorry.... I know, we called them.... There was a shooter at the hotel that chased me and McKenna... Were going to the police station now... Yeah, meet us there... Alright... Luff you too... bye." He sighed and handed the phone back to the police officer.

"Hun, are you sure your legs are alright?" The lady officer asked me.

"Actually I forgot that they're broken. So, yeah they're fine. Aren't you guys?" I told the officer. At the last part I pinched the little part of leg skin that was exposed. Zayn and the lady officer looked at me weird and then shrugged.

"Well, you'll need to see a doctor anyways. Everyone has to, just in case something happened that your not aware of. Believe it or not, sometimes people don't even realize when they've been shot." Me and Zayn nodded and then we pulled up to the police station. I got out of the car and was greeted by a crying Austin. He lifted me up in a hug as he cried into my shoulder.

"Austin, its okay. Why are you crying?" I asked him as I wiped some of his tears. I started crying just because he's crying.

"I was just so w-worried when I s-s-saw the police at the h-hotel." He sniffled through his tears. "I t-tried to check if you were okay, but they s-said that you w-w-weren't there. Th-thats when I started... c-c.." I cut him off by shushing him and pulling him back into a hug.

"I'm okay, alright. You need to thank Zayn. He's responsible for me being okay." I told Austin. He nodded and then walked over to Zayn and hugged him too.

I hugged everone else, and then I got brought to the hospital to check on my legs. The doctor told me that they healed a lot faster because they werent as broken as they thought and I got all of my cast's off.

After that we all got back on the bus and I comforted Austin as he cried into my shoulder until midnight. He was really scared. After a while I fell asleep with Austin's arms wrapped tightly around me.
