How To Save A Life <FINISHED>

"Okay, you guys have to PROMISE not to tell ANYONE!" I stuck out my pinky and they both pinky swore not to tell a single soul. "So me and that other girl Amber have a really bad relationship. Ever since first grade she and her friend Megan have been bullying me for the stupidest things. Nobody knows except for me, Amber and Megan. Today they started bullying me again and I couldnt handle it. She pushed me down and I got pissed, you know. You saw the rest." They didnt say anything for a minute as they took what I said in. 

"Soo.... she's like, your bully?" Alex asked after a while

"Thanks for clearing that up Captin Obvious." I said motioning to my face. I couldnt see if I had brusies, but I could feel it.

"Does she bully anyone else?" Austin asked

"Nope, I guess she just has a thing for me."

"Well we need to stop her. Where does she live?" Austin asked standing up

"Why do you want to know where she lives?" I stood up as well

"So we can go talk to her parents." Alex suggested

"You guys, dont you think I tried that?" God they are stupid.

"Well maybe you tried, but we didnt. Now tell us where she lives."

"Its not gonna help anything, but she lives down the street from me."

"Lead the way Captin!" Alex said while fist pumping the air. I sighed. Well this is gonna be fun. 

When we got to Ambers house the boys went and knocked on the door without a moments hesitation. Ambers mom answered.

"What do you want?!" she is so mean. I wonder where Amber gets her mean-ness from.

"Ma'am are you aware that your daughter has been bullying this girl - McKenna - since the first grade?" Alex asked

"I'm aware of it, and I'm proud of it." she started to shut the door, but Austin held it open with his foot.

"Can we talk to your husband please?" Austin asked kindly

"Whatever." Ambers mom turned around to yell for her husband "JASON! SOME STUPID KIDS WANNA TALK TO YOU!!" I would hate to live here... Soon a man appeared at the door in boxers and a muscle shirt. He was quite chubby. 

"What do you worms want?" He was rude too.

"Are you aware that your daughter has been bull-" Austin got cut off by Jason - Ambers dad

"Yes I know and I am very proud of her if you must know. Now get off of my property before I call the cops on you stupid kids." He shut the door and we started walking back to the park.

"Well that didnt help anything." Alex admitted

"Told you." I said.

"Hey wanna go to my house?" Austin asked. I assumed he was talking to Alex.

"Alright well, thanks for trying to help. See you around." I started walking back in the direction of my house.

"You can come to my house too." Austin said. He is sooo sweet!

"Are you sure? I havent ever been to someone else's house."

"Well now you have. Lets go!" We all ran to Austin's house.

"Are you sure your parents wont mind?" I asked as we walked into the house

"Nah they wont." He said without worry. "Mom! I'm home!" He yelled to his Mom who was in the kitchen.

"Hi sweetie!" She called back. Austin whispered to me that her name is Michelle. She sounded really nice.

"Hey, I have friends over!"

"Alright! Have fun, but dont get hurt!"

"I cant promise you anything!" Austin motined for us to follow him to his bed room. Austin's house was so bright compared to Ambers house that was so dark. Austin's house was clean and smelled good, while Amber's was messy and smelled like a pig stine. "So what do you guys wanna do?" Austin asked when we got to his room and sat down. I was on the floor, Alex was on Austins bed and Austin was on a computer chair.

"Can we watch a movie?" Alex asked while standing up

"If thats okay with McKenna." Alex and Austin both stared at me.

"Oh um, thats okay with me. What moveis do you have Austin?" I stood up looking around his room.

"Okay, whoever gets there first gets to pick the movie!!" Austin yelled. We all raced to the living room leading to Alex tripping Austin - I was in the lead and Alex was in the back - and then Austin accedentially pushed me over leading to me falling down the stairs. They both stopped at the bottom and started FRANTICALLY asking me if I was okay, and appoligizing. I started "crying" into my hands. Then when the boys started freaking out I laughed and sprinted to the living room. They were yelling at me that I cheated and that it wasnt fair. 

"HEY! You never said there were rules." I said to stop their bickering

"But you tricked us!" Austin yelled

"Its not my fault that you guys are gullible." They huffed and then sat down as I picked out a movie. I picked The Hills Have Eyes and put it in. The boys didnt know what movie we were watching until the title came up on the screen. They both gawked at me.

"What?" I asked confused

"You cant watch this!" Alex yelled

"And why not?"

"YOUR A GIRL!!" they both yelled at the same time.

"Being a girl doesnt change what movies I can and cant watch." I said calmly

"Okay, but when you have nightmares about this dont blame me." Austin said putting his hands in the air

"Psh, yeah because I'll be the one having nightmares."

Throughout the movie I will admit that I did jump BUT I didnt scream. I cant say the same for Austin and Alex. Michelle came in twice from their screaming. She asked me if I was okay, and I explained to her that it was Austin and Alex screaming and not me. She thought that was really funny, but I dont think she believed me. 

------------------------- after the movie

"Hey what time is it?" I asked while we walked back to Austin's room. Alex pulled my phone out of my back pocket and told me that it was 8:32 PM. "CRAP!! I didnt tell my parents I where I am!" I yelled as I ran out of the house back to mine. "I'll see you guys tomorrow! Meet me at my locker!"

When I got home my parents were in their bedroom. I shut the door quietly and snuck into my room. I set my phone down on my desk and flopped down onto my bed.

"OOGABOOGA!!" My Mom yelled as she jumped out of my closet. I screamed bloody murder.

"WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT FOR?!?!" I yelled at her. She knows I hate being scared like that. I'm suprised that I didnt pee myslef.

"Goodnight darling." She said sweetly as she walked back into her bedroom. I turned on my radio and Taylor Swifts song Never Ever Getting Back Together was on. I quickly drifted off to sleep to her soothing voice.
