My New Tattoo.

*MCKENNA'S POV*

"Take a left here." I told Austin as he drove. "Annnnddd STOP!"

"A tattoo parlor?" Austin asked confused as he parked the car.

"Yep, lets go."

"McKenna, you want a tattoo?"

"Of course."

"Your not even old enough, it's against the law."

"And who ever follows the law in Texas? Nobody." I joked as I got out of the car.

"McKenna, I do-" Austin started.

"Stop, I'm doing it." I cut him off. "Hi, I'm looking to get a tattoo." I said to the lady at the front desk as I walked in.

"Alright, um... What did you want to get?" She asked.

"A semicolon sign. Could we do it soon?"

"Sure, let me go get a tracing and I can help you in a few minutes." The lady walked away leaving me and Austin alone.

"Are you sure?" Austin asked nervously.

"Mmhhmm." I hummed in reply.

Austin sighed and then followed me and the lady to one of the rooms when the lady came back.

"Alright, where do you want it?" She asked.

"Either my wrist or above me collar bone. Which one?" I replied.

"I think the collar bone would be cool." The lady replied.

I sat down and she started doing my tattoo, surprising me because she didn't ask my age or anything.

"So why did you decide to get this tattoo?" She asked as she put ink into my skin.

"Um.. It kind of represents an author that could end a sentence, but decided not to. The author is God, or whoever decided to let me live. The sentence is my life." I said as I squeezed Austin's hand in pain.

"Wow. That's deep. How old are you?"

Whoop, there it is.

"17..." I replied nervous that she might stop my tattooing.

"Ah. Underage huh?"

"Sorry."

"It's okay. I've had 14 year olds in here, believe it or not."

"I believe it."

"Don't get your tattoo wet okay? That might be hard with showering, but avoid it as much as possible." The lady told me as I finished paying for my tattoo.

"Alright, thank you. Have a nice day." I replied as I gave her a hug and walked out with Austin.

"Hey, Dani texted saying that she needed to talk to us. Imma call her." Austin said as we got into his car.

"OMG GUYS!" Dani yelled into the phone.

"WHAT?" Me and Austin yelled back.

"I found my Mom! My real life Mom!"

"WHO?" I yelled excitedly.

"IT'S STACY! Remember?! The lady we rescued! She's my real life Mom, the one that left me at the hospital!" Dani yelled happily into the phone.

"OH MY GOD THAT'S CRAY DANI!! OH MY GOD OH MY GOD WE SAVED YOUR MOM!!" Austin yelled like a girl.

"I know, she's coming over later!"

"Alright, talk to you later then?"

"Byee!"

Then Dani hung up.

What should we do on this warm Texas day? I sang in my head.

"AHH LET'S HAVE A BEACH PARTY!" I yelled at Austin, leading to him slamming on the breaks.

"Whew, you scared me. Beach party... That sounds fun. Invite everyone?" Austin said back to me.

"Sure, invite everyone in your contact list. Except for Amber, Megan and Sam."

"Well no dur."

"This is so cool!" Robert yelled to me as we danced in a group of a bunch of other people.

It's about 10:00 at night. We have a fire going on the beach, music blaring, and drinks being passed around. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

"I know! So many people are here!" I yelled back as Feel The Love came on by Hoodie Allen a.k.a. my favorite song (authors note: it's my favorite song! Go listen to it!).

"I'm so happy things are good between us nowww." Dani said as she came up and kissed my cheek. Obviously drunk.

"Ewww Dani, your drunk!" I yelled over the music.

"This shirt hasn't shrunk silly!" She yelled back as she looked at her shirt.

"Go find Alex!"

"Okay!" Dani stumbled away, desperately trying to find Alex who most likely stayed sober.

"Have you seen Austin?" I asked Robert.

"Nah, sorry." He replied as he turned around, dancing with some girl.

I sighed and started walking through the crowd of people trying to find Austin.

"AUSTIN!!" I yelled as I saw him being dragged away by Amber, Megan and Audrey. Sam not anywhere to be seen. "LET HIM GO!!" I yelled at Amber as I punched her in the face, having her immediately fall to the ground.

"MCKENNA!" Audrey yelled at me as she lunged for me. Leaving only Megan to hold Austin. "AUSTIN DOESN'T LIKE YOU!!! HE'S MINE!"

"STOP! AUSTIN WOULD NEVER LIKE A DIRTBAG LIKE YOU AND THAT'S A FACT!" I yelled back as I pushed her on the ground.

"YEAH!! DIRTBAG!!" Austin yelled as he put his arm around me and pulled me away from them.

"Are you alright?!" I asked as we got back into the crowd.

"I'm fine, you know Audrey was lying about what she said, right?" Austin replied.

"No duh, Nancy Drew."
