A few years have passed and Hermione couldn't believe how improved she had become during her time as a werewolf. She felt stronger in a sense both in her strength and her senses. She noticed a few changes in her as well. Her hair was more darker and eyes become a bit brighter color brown with tints of gold. She was a bit bulkier but not by must. She had to admit Scabior was right about not taking the potion. During that summer a few years back, she felt great after the transformation. She didn't feel pain or any suffering at all when turning into a wolf and back. It was more like changing clothes.
Until the day when she took the potion during her time back. When she drank it, the transformation was hell. She could feel her bones snapping and the pain was unbearable. Worse, when she turned back, she could hardly move... actually she couldn't move because of how much pain she felt she was in. She felt like someone had crushed her with a boulder. She even found bite marks and scratches. Though she was unsure where they came from, she was sure that she couldn't drink that potion again. She just couldn't bare the thought of having to go through that pain again.
Luckily, after they went to the shack, Snape would just hand her the potion then depart from the room so she could change. She had secretly brought a plant into the house so she would pour the potion into the plant so that Snape had 'proof' she was taking her potion. Of course, she was confronted a few times my McGonagall and Dumbledore due to her lack of lacking energy after the full moon. She was able to lie and say that maybe it didn't affect her like it did with the others.
She also noticed a lack of sightings of Fenrir and his pack. Hermione kind of had to admit she wished Scabior would pop in once in awhile so she could properly thank him for his advise. But now it was soon getting to her 18th birthday and instead of excitement she found most people were concerned and worried. Probably because they figure Fenrir and his pack were going to attempt something during her birthday but Hermione wasn't all that concern. Thankfully, Ron and Harry were determined to make it a special day for her.
They were sitting around in Grimmauld Place where she was surrounded by the Weasley Family, members of the Order like Moody, McGonagall, and Albus, and even Tonks and Remus and Sirius were there hanging up decorations for her party. Hermione smiled as she couldn't have asked for anything else besides this. She then felt a tap on her shoulder as she gaze over to find Remus standing beside her.
"Happy Birthday Hermione," Remus told her. She grinned.
"Thank you Remus." She replied.
"Hermione is it okay if we have a private chat?" Remus asked her. Hermione tilted her head but nodded that they could chat. They walked in till they were in a private room in the house. Before Hermione could ask, Remus spoke.
"Is there something you wish to tell me?" Remus asked her. Hermione shook her head, confused as to what this whole thing was now about.
"No, you're the one who dragged me here, Professor." Hermione stated to him. He then surprised her by his stern gaze as he asked,
"Are you taking your wolfsbane potion?"
