You Have... The Werewolf (Harry Potter Fanfic)

Remus ran down the hall as he called out to Hermione, furious at what he had just discovered, trying to catch up with Hermione when he was stopped by Sirius and Molly, who looked at him with concern and confusion. 

"What's going on? Is everything okay? We just saw Hermione storm out of the house?" Sirius asked, pointing to the front door. Remus shook his head. 

"Not now, Sirius. I need to get to Hermione before she does something stupid." Remus stated to him as he lightly nudged Sirius out of the way. Just before he could get to the door, Molly stepped in front of him with her arms crossed over her chest. 

"Remus  Lupin you tell us what the hell is going on right this moment before I give you the worse imaginable punishment that makes your werewolf transformation look gentle!" Molly threatened him. Remus, knowing that Molly is going to fulfill her threat, backed up a few feet away from Molly. 

"Alright, alright. I just learned Hermione is not taking her wolfsbane potion and I told her she should be taking it for her own good. However, she argues that she does not want to take it and that I can't tell her to take it." Remus explained to her. Molly shook her head and sighed. 

"And she's right." Molly mumbled. Remus's eyes widened. 

"Molly, you got to..." Remus started when she cut in. 

"Remus, you don't have kids yet so you don't know. But I know you were a kid once and I know that possibly there was one point that people told you not to do something and just to piss those people off, you did it, didn't you?" Molly asked. Remus shook his head that she was correct. 

"This is the same thing. You keep telling Hermione 'you must do something', she's going to rebel against you because she is trying to understand what she wants and she does not want to be told what to do. Especially since she is now eighteen she is ready to test her new found freedom. You have to be more patience with her darling, because she's just figuring out things for her own." Molly advised him. Remus shook her head. 

"But this is dangerous for her to do, Molly." Remus stated to her. Molly nodded as she lightly patted his shoulder. 

"I know, but you keep ordering her to do something isn't going to bring you two closer. You're going to make her push away from you." Molly told him before she headed back to the kitchen. Sirius and Remus stood there for a moment before Sirius tilted his head to the side. 

"You're going after Hermione, aren't you?" Sirius asked Remus, who was already putting on his coat. 

"Hell yeah, I'm going after her. There is a pack of werewolves out there and she's unaware of the dangers she is about to put herself into." Remus declared, fixing up his coat's collar, before existing the house and chasing after Hermione.
