Madam Pomfrey finished with stitching Hermione up before tucking her into her bed snuggly as if Hermione was a four year old girl and Madam Pomfrey was her mother. After Madam Pomfrey had told her to get some rest, she slipped away to work on another patient, who was in there because he accidentally taken a befuddlement draught and ran down a flight of stairs as it was moving and fell off. Luckily for him, it was only the first floor, so it wasn't serious damage.

Hermione was about to shut her eyes and rest when she saw from the corner of her eye Harry's head popping from behind one of the curtains. She watched as he proceeded to roll across the floor as he stood in a bent position to look at her.

"Hey, how are you doing?" Harry whispered while darting his eyes around to ensure Pomfrey doesn't see him. She shook her head.

"I'm fine." Hermione told him.

"I thought something bad happened to you and I was right. You were bit, weren't you Hermione?" Harry asked her. Hermione peered down as she nodded sadly.

"Yeah, if you don't want to be my friend anymore, I'll understand." Hermione told her. Harry her eyes.

"What? No! I don't want to stop being friends with you just because you were bit! You're my friend, and I'll always care for you, 'Mione. Same with Ron. He would be here... well he is here... he's in the bed next door... but he's out cold." Harry told her. She lightly smiled at the fact he said that. She was for sure that he and Ron weren't going to enjoy the thought of being friends with her after they learned of her condition now.

"I'm flattered. I just don't know what to do with my parents. I don't know how exactly I will deal with it or how they'll deal with it. I mean how do you tell your parents 'oh, hey mom! Hey Dad! Guess what I became this year? a werewolf! How cool is that!'" Hermione mockingly said. Harry chuckled.

"We'll figure this out. In the meantime, just rest." Harry advised her. She shook her head.

"It's kind of hard when you know there's a pack of werewolves out there in the Forbidden Forest, who want you to join. I swear, that Alpha is a creep and so is that Beta!" Hermione admitted. Harry's eyes widened.

"What Alpha and Beta?" he asked.

"Um... the Alpha's name is Fenrir and the Beta I didn't get his name but they were such creeps. They acted like they never saw a woman before." Hermione explained to him. His mouth dropped.

"Hermione! This is no coincidence! The turning into werewolves... the three guys... the three lovers... the choice that determine one's rise and downfall..." Harry dragged. Hermione's head landed on the pillow as she rolled her eyes.

"Harry don't start!"

"The tea leaves, 'Mione! The tea leaves are coming true!"

"Enough Harry," she growled at him, "I am not going to hear some crazy talk. I just want the rest of this day empty of craziness. No more craziness for today."

Hermione slowly leaned back to sleep when a loud screaming caused her to bolt up in a seating position as she watched as Snape went running pass the infirmary screaming his head off. Before she could ask, McGonagall went rushing pass the infirmary, grasping hold of the lamp from Dumbledore's desk screaming like a madwoman while Dumbledore and Remus were holding onto the ends of her robes even though it appeared like it wasn't slowing her down in the least. Remus was pleading with McGonagall to 'calm down' and to 'stop this madness' and Hermione could have sworn she heard Dumbledore just screaming at the top of his lungs 'wee'.
