"This is an outraged, Dumbledore!" McGonagall growled at him after dragging both Snape and Lupin into his office by the ears, "I warned you not to bring that werewolf in our midst and now look what happened? Chaos is upon us thanks to you and your stupidity of this damn war thing." 

"McGonagall, I know you are upset but if you would try to calm down..." Dumbledore attempted to calm her down but she just wasn't having it. 

"NO! Dumbledore, I do not think I will calm down! I don't think you understand the depths of the dangers that are about to be upon us! Most importantly, upon Miss Granger! She is going to have to learn how to deal with being a werewolf! How to sneak out and try to keep her condition a secret because everyone knows how this damn world treats them. Worse, that brute of a man and his beta or whatever you want to call him were all over her like she was the last cookie in the cookie jar! He claimed he will attempt to get her to join his pack and I am certain he will try everything in his power to do so," McGonagall rant with such a fury that Dumbledore was leaning against his chair to keep away from her. 

"We will figure this out, McGonagall. I am sure Remus here wouldn't mind helping Hermione out with that." Dumbledore suggested, nervously smiling and nodding his head. Before Remus could answer that, McGonagall cut in. 

"Oh, he has no choice in the matter. I am ensuring Mr. Lupin to aid Hermione in dealing with this. As well as writing an apology letter to her for bitting her." McGonagall stated to him. 

"Wouldn't it be best if I just told her I..." Remus started when McGonagall gave him a side glare, "A letter of an apology is just as nice." 

"Well that settles everything... now why is Snape here?" Dumbledore asked, pointing at him. Snape shrugged his shoulders as he was confused as McGonagall scoffed. 

"He's here because of his prejudice against werewolf caused him to leak information about Remus's condition and now we have everyone's parents sending us mail by the minute demanding Remus's removal! Which is mental because where would he go to get a job?" McGonagall stated. Dumbledore opened his mouth to speak when Remus spoke up. 

"I will leave then. I have caused you enough trouble as it is." Remus explained, making McGonagall feel the need to cry as he stood up from his seat and gently took her hands, "I will send off my letter of apology and teach Hermione how to sneak into the Shrieking Shack and what to do when the full moon comes then I shall be off." 

"But it's too dangerous for Hermione to enter into the Forbidden Forest alone! Fenrir and his pack will be waiting for her to go back. And when she turns she'll be at the mercy of her wolf side and Fenrir might use that to his advantage." McGonagall claimed. 

"Then someone will have to watch over her while she is transformed. But who?" Dumbledore asked. Slowly McGonagall turned as she motioned with her eyes at Snape. Snape jolted while shaking his head. 

"Are you barking mad? I will not do such a horrible idea." Snape growled. McGonagall glared at him. 

"You should have thought of that when you leak to the Ministry about his condition. You will watch over Hermione when the full moon arises and help with make her potions to ensure that she is taken care of." McGonagall declared to him. Just as he was about to turn and dismiss them Snape stood up from his chair and mumbled...

"No." 

The whole room got quiet as Dumbledore had gasped and darted his eyes between McGonagall and Snape. Remus took a step away from McGonagall, whose face twisted in a stern look of hatred. 

"I beg your pardon?" she asked him. Snape his head. 

"No. I won't do it. And you can't make me. So what do you have to say about that?" Snape asked her.
