I'm trying hard not to laugh looking at Thooriga's face. The look of the cat caught in a theft. She is so cute with that pout on her face which makes me want to kiss her. But that has to wait until when, I don't know.

The party started in full swing, as a few came forward to give away their gifts to Thooriga, a few started with their dinner and some joined the dance floor, either as a group or as a couple.

When my friend arrives, I introduce him to Thooriga, "Heiress, this is my friend, Sayleesh, he is the Deputy Superintendent of Police for North Coimbatore judiciary."

"Welcome back Heiress and wish you many more happy returns of the day," he wishes her and presents his gift which she gracely receives. We both shake our hands before he leaves and I slip a piece of note into his palm.

After an hour of necessary treatment and threats, the snipper finally opened his mouth to speak. In his work method he was never contacted directly. There are several layers of mediators between the main culprit and the assassinator. With the lead he has provided for his immediate mediator, Sayleesh will take forward further investigation unofficially.

Harshavardhan estate was constructed during the pre-independence era when the Britishers were ruling India. The British constructed tunnels are still present below the Harshavardhan estate hidden from the eyes of public and media.

The family is clever enough to act as if they don't know about the murder attempt on Thooriga when one among them is the one who has passed on the order. Now they are happily mingling with guests, Ilakkiya with her club women and Eshwar with other Estate family heads while Rudhran dancing with Taran.

Taran leaves Rudhran's hands and runs to Tina who is talking with Tanya, Vini and Swathi and drags her to the dancing floor to dance with him and his father. Rudhran and Tina hesitate in the beginning but join Taran to dance.

A tug on my coat made me look down to find Thooriga tugging at it. She directs her eyes toward the dance floor and I shake my head denying her request to dance. She gives me a hurt puppy look and bats her eyes sadly trying to make me agree.

I turn to my left and bite my lips trying to control my laughter. She is just so cute, giving me such a look which only wants me to throw her on my shoulder, take her to her bedroom and show her what those eyes of hers do to me.

But the cake eating challenge has gone too far. Though many didn't talk about it, letting it slide thinking it has a strict guardian and ward fight. Dancing together will definitely create a rumor mill which I don't want to happen. Also I don't want to get distracted when there is a crowd of people assembled in a place.

I turn to deny again when I find Vikranth standing opposite to her and forwarding his hand, "Will the Heiress honour me with a dance?"

Thooriga looks at me and he asks, "Does the Heiress need the permission of her Bodyguard to dance with me?"

"Nope," she says and places her hand in his and walks toward the dance floor.

She places her hand on his shoulder and he on the back of hers. I clench my fist into a ball with an unknown anger creeping on me.

"Boss," Sabarish calls me.

"Sollu," I almost bark at him to say what he wants to say.

"I want to dance with Tanya."

I glare at him, "Nee enkita ethala adivaanga poora nu therila." (I'm not sure how worse you are going to get beaten by me.)

"Illa boss dance pandra maathiri information collect panna poren." (Dance is just a cover up to collect information, Boss.)
