Raj

I know Rudhran would go to any extreme to win Taran's custody. But I didn't expect him to execute a fake marriage, that too with Thooriga's friend, Tina. Not only Tina, this might endanger anyone who becomes Rudhran's wife. I should have shared my doubt with him but back then he was already broken and I didn't want to break him more.

Well they had planned something and came up with this, like I have guards for every family member, I'm going to add more. Also as Thooriga said they both are consenting adults and whatever terms they both spoke among themselves is nothing of my concern.

But I'm completely not fine with including Thooriga in their web of lies. Moreover Thooriga joined them and lied in spite of me denying her to lie. The reason for sending her away was unnecessary for this case. If anyone finds out that they are lying and it blows up, it might cost everything.

The judge calls Taran to come front and Tanya sends him. He runs and stands between Rudhran and Tina. "Do you know him?" She asked him, pointing her pen at Prakash.

Taran nods his head before saying, "He used to fight with my parents whenever he comes to meet us. He tried to take me away with him saying he is my father, when my mom went to meet god. Once he kidnapped me to his home, then dad and Raj uncle came to take me back."

Everyone gets shocked hearing it. No one knows this except for the three of us. Rudhran and I asked him not to say it to anyone at home. "Idha nee en kita sola ve illa, Raj" Ilakkaiya ma'am asked me.

"Ungaluku theva illatha tension vendam nu dhaan ma'am," I replied before the Judge ordered everyone to be silent. Thooriga looks between us, as I barely respond to people in the house,

"Kidnapped? What is this, Mr. Jayaram?"

"My Lord, he didn't kidnap, he just took his son to meet his new wife."

"Nonsense. Domestic violence, marital rape and kidnapping the child but you are asking me to give the custody of Thooran to him."

"My Lord, that was before, now he is a redeemed person. Trust me, just give my client, Mr. Prakash, a chance. He has changed a lot in the two years. Everyone needs a chance."

The Judge shakes her head before asking Thooran about Tina, "Do you know her?"

"Yes, I know Tina Akka."

"How long do you know, her?"

He counts his fingers, "Three days, no four days."

"Do you like her?"

"Yes."

"Why?"

"My friends and their mothers used to say, my mom is not with me because of me. But Tina Akka said that my mom is sitting in the tallest building in the world and guarding me like Thooriga Akka's guards. She teaches me Maths and Science but she stops me with just one scoop of ice cream and one chocolate."

The judge smiles at him, "Would you like it, if your Tina Akka becomes your Tina mummy?"

"Really?" He turns to look at Tina and she happily nods her head at him. He hugged her and she hugged him back as Rudharan caressed his hair.

The judgment was in our favour as there was already a domestic violence case on Prakash for which he served three years in prison. Also the judge recommended the kidnapping case of Taran to the criminal court.

One thing I don't understand is, why did Prakash appeal for custody when there is no way for him to win the case with his criminal records.

The next case is called for proceeding and we all leave the courtroom. Rudhran, Tina and Taran come to meet us.
