Thooriga

"Nee poi rest edu enakku work konjam pending irukku," Raj announces as soon as we enter my suite. (You take rest, I have some work to finish.)

"Kolla poren mama unna," He places his fingers on my lips, silencing me, before going to his table and turning on the silencer. He removes his coat, hangs it behind the chair before sitting on the chair and rolls his sleeves. I walk around the table, leaning on it, blocking his way to work. "Inaiku night namma onna thongalam nu solitu ipo Taran ah en kooda thoonga solra?" (I'm going to kill you, Mama. You promised to sleep over with me but now you are asking me to sleep with Taran.)

"Saby inaikku seeikiram poga permission ketu irunthan," he crosses his arms and leans back on his chair. "Tanya va sleepover ku avan veetuku invite pani irukan." I look at him shocked after hearing the information. "Avanga rendu peru nammakaaga evlo cover up pani irukanga namma oru vaati adjust panrathula enna thappu?" If this is the reason, how can I be angry with him? (Saby, asked me permission to leave early. He has invited Tanya for a sleepover. They both have covered up for us, many times. Can't we adjust once for them?)

"Ava enkita sollave illa," I lean off the table and try to move out but he holds my hand. (She did share about this with me.)

"Nee solla chance koduthiya?" I think for a while and shake my head in denial. I have been always speaking about my relationship to her. I should really start caring about everyone, give them time without losing anyone. (Did you give her a chance?)

I sit on his lap, hooking my left hand around his neck. "Enakku slight ah doubt irunthathu, mama, aana kettukala. Also, I have a feeling that Chitha and Tina won't be faking for long." (I did have a little doubt, Mama. But I didn't ask her about it.)

He crooks his head to his right and looks at me, "We know our friends right." We both chuckle and I lean my head on his chest. "Oye, ulla poi rest edu." (Go to your room and take a rest.)

"Enakku intha pillow thaan venum," I tap on his chest. "Nee un vela paru naan en vela pakuren." (I want only this pillow. You do your work and I'll do mine.)

"Nee enna vela paaka pora?" (What are you going to do?)

"Thongurathu thaan." I look at his face before leaning back on his chest and closing my eyes. He shakes his head in disbelief, curls his left hand around me to keep me safe from falling and pushes the chair towards the table to turn on his computer. I perfectly settled on his lap, throwing legs over the right armrest and clutching his shirt with my right hand. (Gonna sleep.)

Meri Jaan Meri Jaan Meri Jaan

Meri Jaan Meri Jaan Meri Jaan

I murmur my recent favourite song as he holds me safe and works with his right hand.

Aayi Hai Jo Raat Nasheeli

Iski Har Ik Baat Nasheeli

Tu Bhi Aa Karle Nasha

I open his top two buttons and start circling my right index finger around the skin tag on his chest. Though his concentration is on his work, his body starts reacting.

Dono Ki Mulaqat Nasheeli

Nashe Ki Yeh Barsaat Nasheeli

Tu Bhi Aa Karle Nasha

He stops typing, "Oye enna panra?" (What are you doing?)

"Just experimenting, Newton's third law, for every action," I circle my finger around his skin tag. "There is an equal and opposite reaction," I rub the side of my thighs over his hardness.
