I walk fastly into the kitchen, place the wine bottle on the kitchen counter, the plates with the remaining items into the sink, turn on the tap and lean my hands on the counter.

When the fuck are you going to tell your feeling to Thooriga?

Last night when she was inebriated, in between the fight, now with that song, she has openly said those words.

How long are you going to hide your feelings and hurt her?

The way her face paled when I changed the last word just killed me. Since morning, the word love was almost on the tip of my tongue and I changed it into a word starting with the same Phonics. Morning I couldn't see her face, but in the kitchen when I changed love into lust, her face became annoyed and now she was completely disheartened.

I don't know who wrote that song but Rudhran shared with me an audio file of this song, when our team took down the videos of her singing this song on the stage. It could have been painful for the other team members as the video was taken down multiple times but we had no other go.

Then they just uploaded the audio version of the song with the lead singer name as Thea. When I heard that song for the first time her voice was so soothing and I slowly fell in love with the song. Last week, the very same time before leaving for the Airport to pick her up, I was lying in the backyard, looking up at the stars and listening to her song.

The wetness in nature, the witness in the song and the wetness in her voice has always evoked the wetness in my heart. There can be thousands of melodies released but this song and her voice has always been my go to song, where I found solace for the past few years.

But when she sang that song looking into my eyes, the wetness multiplied and started leaking out through my eyes. I could feel her love for me in the emotion that hides in her voice. Now, I feel that she has sung the song with me in her mind and hence it reached my heart even in the time when I had no romantic feelings for her.

Her eyes were piercing through my soul killing my resistance. But what did I give her in return? Only hurt by changing Kadhaliye (Lover) into Katchiyale (Vision). Thooriga deserves more love than what I can afford but my selfish heart wants her to have only me. I take the wine bottle and gulp a few ounces of wine, not getting intoxicated much and place it back on the counter.

The lawyers received the DNA result, earlier this day and it was positive proving that she is Thooriga to the law. We already know it's her and every memory she recollects, screaming it's her. But the court needs proof and now they have it. I need to talk with the lawyer and somehow push the will reading earlier so that I can express my love to her immediately after signing away my power.

I turn off the water, spray the dishwater liquid on the vessels, scrub it fast within a couple of minutes and leave the vessels to dry. I turn off all the appliances except for the living room light and walk out of the cabin into the backyard.
