"I dunno Kat this seems kinda off," Hitoshi muttered. He had been getting bad vibes all through their walk in the forest.
Katsuki grunted in response. He felt the bad feeling too. Like they were being watched... And not just by the people who were supposed to watch them. "Stop being such a baby Toshi."
"I'm serious Kat. Something is wrong." Hitoshi huffed gripping his scarf with one hand. "I can feel it."
"We're fine Toshi." Katsuki turned and gave his brother a blank look with a short jerk of his head to the side.
Hitoshi wilted a bit at the look and glanced in that direction. Did he see something move? He released his weapon and continued walking by Katsuki's side. 'What do we do?'
'Stay calm. We find out whos out there and then we blast 'em. Use your quirk.' Katsuki signed back keeping his eyes trained forward to not raise suspicion.
Hitoshi nodded. He was always shocked when his brother was calm and strategic like this. "Who's there?"
There was no response. Smart enough in the long run but there could be another issue. If this person had done research they could know Hitoshi's quirk which could be bad.
"Show yourself fucker!"
"Unwise choice of words young man." Both boys whirled around only for hands to touch them. And then it went dark...
--- Page Break ---
Shouta couldn't believe they had found the camp! How were they here? Someone had to have tipped them off. Maybe Mic's suggestion of a traitor wasn't so off.
"Shouta!"
Shouta turned to the voice and let his guard down a bit. "Hizashi? Why are you here?" He shook his head and turned back again. "Whatever! There are villains attacking and Hitoshi and Katsuki are in the woods!"
There was a whack and Shouta fell to the group. He touched his head and it came back sticky with blood. His vision blurred.
"I know about that much Sho."
No... It couldn't be. "No-" Shouta rasped out.
"Why yes! Finally caught on did ya?" Hizashi stepped into Shouta's vision and smirked. "Playing the long game was really a pain."
"You can't be-" Shouta's voice cracked with emotion. This wasn't real. Hizashi... Hizashi had been with him since school! He can't have been faking all of it..?
"But I am! I-"
"Cut it out! We got the two brats." A couple other blurred figures stepped into Shouta's vision.
"Is it the right ones?" Hizashi changed to focus to address the other villains.
"The explosion one and the mind one. The others on the list were untouchable. These two were alone."
Hizashi frowned. "I see. Well it's better than nothing."
A commotion sounded to the side drawing the villains attention.
"We need to go."
Hizashi nodded in response and took the two marbles from the mans hand. He flashed a grin in Shouta's direction. "See ya around~"
"Wait-" Shouta called.... But they were gone.
