author's note

after having written this book for 9 months, i can confidently say my favourite part about it is that it ended up being 69 chapters. 

i promise that wasn't intentional ;)

but on a more serious note, i cannot believe that this book is over, and i am so grateful for those of you who decided to join me on this journey. without you, i probably wouldn't have enjoyed it nearly as much, so thank you. 

i hope you guys don't hate me for that ending, and the rather confusing epilogue, but all will be made clear eventually. 

because the sequel should be making an appearance very soon. 

i would never leave you guys hanging, so, here's to book 2. 

i hope you guys enjoyed reading this as much as i enjoyed writing it. it was crazy to me that people even began to read it in the first place, but then all of a sudden there were thousands of you and i realised i would actually have to finish it one day. 

and weirdly enough, today is that day. 

i look forward to seeing you all in the sequel.
