Angela had been waiting eagerly for her outing with Aaliyah. The previous day she had been going through her closet, trying to find the perfect clothes. She had to look perfect. Her mother helped her, but whatever outfit she picked, Angela rejected for whatever reason.

"You sure are excited to meet with this girl, aren't you?" asked Mrs Wang.

"Yeah. Aaliyah's only the most popular girl in the school. I have to look perfect for her" Angela said.

"You like her a lot, don't you?" Mrs Wang commented.

"Yeah. She's really cool."

"I'm really glad you're finally making friends," Mrs Wang said. "Now, how about this one?"

Mrs Wang held up a red outfit.

"Yes! That's perfect!" Angela said. "Thanks mom."

"I'm glad I could help you" Mrs Wang said.

"Now, I'm gonna need contact lenses," said Angela.

"What? But you've never tried contact lenses before" said Mrs Wang.

"There's a first time for everything, right?" said Angela.

Aaliyah, too, was excited for this outing. She was searching for the perfect outfit. Her mother helped her, but every outfit seemed to have a problem - too flashy, too dull, too boring. No, she had to look absolutely perfect.

"My, you're really eager for this are you?" Mrs Taylor commented. "If I didn't know any better I'd have assumed you were going on a date."

"Mom, stop it" Aaliyah couldn't help but blush.

"Well how about this?"

Mrs Taylor held up a denim shirt and a dark blue skirt.

"Now that's what I'm talking about," said Aaliyah. "Its perfect. Just wait till Angela sees me like this."

"Well I'm glad you finally found something" said Mrs Taylor.

"Well, half the work's done. I'm gonna need help with my braids too" said Aaliyah.

"I'd be happy to help you" Mrs Taylor said.

From afar, Rosalia watched them. These two seemed to be enjoying their lives right now. She wondered if maybe they'd like to stay this way forever.
