Rain lashed the windows of a mansion through the bushes, while irregular lighting from candles flooded the interior of that house. It was the 1950s and this abode was filled with the cries of a baby resting in a crib in the corner of a room. The bassinet loomed in the middle of the room, the support emerging from the floor in the shape of a golden snake with green eyes, while it provided a small cushioned bed with a tapestry of greenish squares. And just above that structure, a mobile rested in the air; It was characterized by the presence of more snakes and dragons in green and silver tones. At the foot of that crib, another little girl was playing with a group of stone cubes, she laughed at her innocence, possibly she was not more than two years old.

Out of nowhere, the girl dropped the cubes when a crash had startled her. A young woman had thundered open that room. She brusquely approached the girls as the oldest crawled out of the way and held still, as if her fear had paralyzed her. The woman continued her step, ignoring the girl on the ground and went straight to her crib. From the ground, the little girl watched the woman fearfully without making a single sound. She watched the woman perform some wand movements near her crib before it turned to the girl.

"What are you seeing?" The woman snapped with an angry gesture. Instantly, she wished she hadn't responded with that attitude, because consequently the little girl began to cry. The woman rolled her eyes and addressed the girl angrily.

"Silencius!" She pronounced with a wand in her hands and as soon as this spell was received by the girl, she fell silent instantly. At first, she made a face of horror and confusion, as she was trying to make a sound, but she found it impossible. A couple of tears slid down the cheeks of that little girl who kept a sad expression. You had me fed up, but now we can be at peace, both of you, "said the woman, sitting in a lounge chair and taking a book. She had a silver dial with a reptile on the front of it, she looked at it for a moment and she opened it, before looking back at the girl. You see? We are already happy, aren't we? She, "she said to the girl as she gave him a smile, indicating with her fingers that she should smile as well. The girl listened to him and returned a smile that seemed real.

The woman smiled to herself when she saw how manipulable that little girl was and she returned to that book while she wrote about it with the inkwell resting on a nearby table. The lights of the lightning of that storm continued to filter through the windows and in a slight way, it was possible to appreciate a small figure of a dark serpent under the woman's tunic. The patter of the drops on the windows and the constant scratching of the pen on the paper could communicate that this moment was a sublime scene. Although in reality, it was totally the opposite...
