That morning the sun was radiating, but still Calynn was not in the mood, in a few minutes she would have to go home and explain what happened and say where she had slept. Calynn got up, had not rested almost anything and saw her friend beside her asleep, did not want to wake her up so she took a paper and a pen and wrote a note to the redhead explaining that she should leave there, did not want let her problems become Lily's. Little Calynn walked away without making a sound, she was not motivated, but decided that in the end it was the best thing she could do to protect Lily. She left the house, trying not to hear the closing of the door, turned around and crossed the street to go to her house. The little girl was trembling with fear, what would they do to her? Would it be worse than that torture spell?

She climbed the stairs, felt her heart beating a thousand an hour, she was not able to hide her fear. She took the knob to see if it was open and to her surprise it was; she pushed the door cautiously and entered her home with barely audible steps, she hoped she could reach her room without seeing her parents. She could not avoid the agitated breathing, waiting for her to meet her mother and submit her to an interrogation. She was about to climb the stairs when a woman's voice called her.

"Calynn Black, come here please," said her mother in a tone so soft that she was not credible.

The girl did not move, her legs did not respond, she was paralyzed with fear.

Her father appeared on the other side of the room; they had her cornered. The girl looked at her father, at that moment she could detect a slight strange gesture with which she had never seen him, he looked tired or thoughtful, did not have enough time to solve that dilemma. Her father approached her and pointed her at her wand and before the little girl could run her father had screamed.

"Imperio!"

The girl stopped dead while trying to run to the door, but simply her body moved slowly to where her mother was. At that precise moment it was as if a pleasant sensation flooded her in full, she felt with great happiness, as if she had no worries, as if nothing was happening, she simply forgot the place she was in and decided to walk towards the room through which her mother's voice had been heard, even smiled when she turned the corner.

She arrived at the room where her mother was, her father closed the door and stopped pointing her daughter with the wand. Druella brought a mocking smile, seeing her daughter with that expression on her face had caused her enough grace.

"You are still equally manipulable." At that moment her father lowered his wand and the girl returned to reality. Calynn was slightly disoriented, she didn't know when she had reached that room. Immediately, her father took her tightly by the arm to prevent her from escaping "Can you tell us where you spent the night?" Asked her mother.

"In the garden," the girl lied.

"And why aren't you wet? You may not have noticed, but it rained quite hard yesterday" the woman snapped wickedly.

She had missed that little detail by telling that lie. Evidently yesterday they had gotten wet enough when climbing on that tree, but when they arrived at Lily's house her mother had given them clothes to change and even let her take a shower, it was a situation she must have thought of before. She began to think of some credible excuse to tell her mother.

"I hid and covered myself in the rain," the girl lied again.

"She lies," said her mother. "Do it," she ordered her father. Cygnus pulled the wand without releasing the girl from his grip.

The little girl looked at him with fear, she didn't know what she was capable of. The man pointed it again at the wand.

"Legeremens!" The man whispered.
