Chapter 6 : Emergency

I accidentally fell at the end of the doco. I felt my legs turn into a mermaid tail and Niall looked down at me. The only thing I had above water was my head so, I wouldn't reveal myself as a mermaid

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"I'm fine." I said.

"Let me help you out." Niall said reaching for my hand.

"No, I'm okay." I said.

Niall looked at me like I was crazy. "You're all wet."

"I know... I can swim home." I said nervously.

"Okay..." Niall said in a weirded out voice, ""I'll see you at the Cafe tonight."

"Okay," I felt like an idiot.

Niall walked away thinking I was crazy. I swam away slowly and went to Taylor's house remembering she said she had an emergency.

I went to Taylor's room.

"What happened?" I asked.

She showed me her bathroom mirror. It looked as if someone had punched it. "The water did this... it came out of nowhere."

"Why would it do that?" I said, "Water doesn't do that."

"It did," She said flatly. "How am I going to explain this to my parents?"

That night, I went to Rikki's. The cafe was decorated nicely, then I saw Niall,

"Are you okay?" He asked when he saw me.

"Yeah. Fine." I said, "Thanks for inviting me to the Cafe concert."

"Welcome. Want to meet the other boys?"

"Sure," I smiled.

We walked to the stage and I saw the other boys looking over the song lists.

Niall got all their attention, "Guys, this is Jessica, please call her Jessie."

"Hi," I said waving and introduced myself.

The boys smiled.

A few minutes later, the concert started. "Welcome to Rikki's Cafe. We are One Direction." Harry said.
