Days had passed uneventfully, as far as Lily was concerned anyway. But for Martin, he had been busier than ever. Not just shows and preparations for his tour, but preparations for his big surprise. It was now Sunday night, and Martin was leaving in the early hours on Monday, meaning time was very precious. Although he was only going away for a week, it would be the longest the young couple would have been without seeing eachother since their relationship began just a few months back.

Lily had been working for the afternoon, and home time could not have come quick enough. She plodded through the surprisingly clear quaint streets, pulling her beige teddy coat ever tighter around her to shield from the still winter air. Amsterdam was renowned for its miserable, wet, cold weather, and today was no exception. And yet somehow, the air felt peaceful and comforting tonight. Creaking the small green gate open, Lily noticed a light on in her living room. Weird. She thought, with no recollection of even using that light today as she had left for work at lunch time. However, as she let herself through the front door, she was pleasantly surprised to find her loving boyfriend waiting for her.
"Yay you're back," he smiled, running up to the door and lifting her off her feet, spinning her round as he did. Lily laughed to herself at his playful nature, yet fell happily into the moment.
"So instead of chilling in your million pound penthouse apartment in Amsterdam, you chose my tiny rented cabin amongst the windmills?" Lily laughed, using her thumb to wipe a tiny piece of fluff off Martins cheek as he looked up at her, her legs still wrapped around his waist and his arms keeping her very sturdy in his embrace.
"I prefer it here, it's cosier. And plus, I knew you'd be coming here," he shrugged, pulling her in for a kiss. Lily did not deny this gesture, letting her lips fall in sync with his, his grip tightening around her body as the kiss grew more intense. Lily began to run her fingers through Martins messy brown hair, and hé allowed her to appreciate how much he enjoyed this as he gently groaned, his teeth pulling at her bottom lip. They reluctantly pulled away for a moment, Lily's Brown deer eyes locking with Martins now deepened green - blue gaze.
"Im so lucky, baby," he whispered, shaking his head as he continued to admire her. Admittedly, lily was a very beautiful girl. Her hair fell straight in brunette strands to her waist, her skin deep olive with a hint of red dye to Martins flattery, and slight intensity. But she still felt he was far too good for her anyway. "Prove it," Lily whispered with a smirk, her entire body fluttering with confidence. Without further hesitation, their lips re-attached, as Martin guided them into Lily's room. It was already nearing midnight, but their night was only just beginning.

Lily's tired brown eyes shot open to an unusual sound just a few hours later.
"Marty?" She whispered, feeling h gently snoring against her neck as he held her close to his front.
"Martijn," she spoke slightly louder, earning a tired grunt from the man.
"What happened?" He yawned, pulling her even closer to him.
"Your alarms going off, it's a good job i heard it sleepy head," Lily teased, rolling over to face him. His tired face expelled a small smirk as he groaned.
"Not my fault you tired me out," he opened his eyes, closing one immediately in a winking motion.
"Oh well if it's too tiring for you I guess we just won't bother again," lily playfully responded, knowing this would earn his full attention.
"No no not too tiring, I'm wide awake," he laughed, sitting up in bed with a stretch.
"That's what I thought, now get up before you miss your own jet," Lily laughed, jumping out of bed, somehow with a bundle of energy and reaching for some shorts and an oversized T-shirt to throw on.
"You're adorable," Martin smiled, his eyes still squinting slightly, but he was now out of bed so that was progress. Lily looked at him, her eyes innocent and pure, melting into his soul.
"Come here," he beckoned, patting his lap as he sat on the edge of the bed. And of course, lily did not hesitate to jump straight on him.
