"Your leaving again, aren't you?"
Hwanwoong found himself in his bedroom, sitting on the edge of the bed, staring into the mirror. The boy sat besides him, or technically his reflection, with sad eyes. Hwanwoong sat still, very tense as the boy in the mirror seemed to be going through many different emotions at once. Looks can be very deceiving with this boy, Hwanwoong learned that quickly.
"I have other things to do, so yes." Hwanwoong answered, looking away from the mirror to his open bedroom door. He could only hope that none of his housemates would walk in anytime soon.
"Will you just look at me?" The boy may look sad, but his tone came off angry.
Hwanwoong turned his gaze back to the mirror without another word. I have to somehow create boundaries, but I have to do it in a safe way. Who knows what he might do to me?
"Where are you going?" The boy asked, tilting his head to further prove his curiosity.
"Can I ask you something first?" Hwanwoong said his own question with a stern voice, though his uneven breathing did not help put on a confident act.
The boy hummed, the sound bouncing around Hwanwoong's head until it faded away seconds later.
"If...if you want to communicate like this..." Hwanwoong started, but shook his head knowing his wording wasn't right. "If we are doing this, you have to start moving your lips when you speak. I can kind of handle hearing your voice in my head for some reason, but hearing you speak and not seeing your lips move really freaks me out."
"So to get closer to you I need to move my lips when I speak?" The boy restated, making sure he got the right impression. The anger seemed to subside in his tone, being replaced fully by curiosity, like a child eager to learn something new.
"Sure." Hwanwoong nodded his head, feeling anxiety creep at his system. That wasn't entirely what he meant, but if it put the boy at bay for now then he'll go along with it.
"I'll try to work on that then." The boy spoke, appearing to be moving his reddened lips for the first time. Nothing lined up perfectly, but it was a start that somewhat put Hwanwoong's mind at ease.
"Thank you." Hwanwoong muttered, glancing away from the mirror once more to ensure he was still the only one in the house.
"I don't know why your so concerned about someone walking in." The boy commented, standing just opposite of the mirror, blocking Hwanwoong's reflection. "I'll know even before you do if someone will enter the house."
Hwanwoong shook his head, sighing.
"That doesn't really matter. You might not always tell me if someone's near because of your mood shifts or whatever. Or even if you decide it'd be a perfect way to mess with me, or as you say have some fun." Hwanwoong responded, pulling out his phone from his pocket to check the time. He didn't mean to sound snippy, but his words define the came off that way. "Plus, you can vanish if you want to, but I'll still be sitting or standing in some strange way which may lead to the others thinking I'm crazy. Which I don't exactly want, especially if—"
"You worry too much." The boy cut off, rolling his eyes dramatically. Hwanwoong watched him, his lips specifically. "They hardly know you, so for all they know this is how you usually act. Why do you care so much about how others perceive you?"
