It was an early morning in the White Kingdom. Opening her window curtains and yawning with delight at waking up to still being her best self, Eloise who had taken the name of the 'Evil Queen' by everyone in the Kingdom, woke up without a doubt. "Your majesty. The Duchess has requested a meeting to see you right now." said a guard from the other side of the thick wooden door.
"Where?" Eloise thundered back.
"Here." said the guard.
"Where's here?"
"Your room, your highness."Suddenly before Eloise could say a word, the Duchess of the White Kingdom burst through the doors and proclaimed to Eloise, "Darling, it is I." And then they finally closed the door leaving the two of them alone together as Eloise sat on her bed.
"Seriously, sister? You can stop it." sighed Eloise. Yes, Hannah-Marie got married to a Duke. And that's also part of the reason why Eloise wanted to marry wealthy so she could be more important than her shit-for-brains sister. "I'm trying to install a sense of self preservation within myself, Sister. And you're not helping. Do you even understand what self preservation is?"
Hannah-Marie nodded, "Yes, it's property of jams and jellies."
Eloise face palmed herself, "Oh my colours. You're no use, you dumb idiot. Leave me." And so, hurriedly, Hannah Marie did, dragging her dress along with her. 'I'd rather be pecked to death by a flock of humming birds than speak one more word to my sister.' She thought.
Eloise Katherine Black..
Eloise..
You, my mistress of evil.
My huntress of death.
You.. my evil queen.
"Mirror." Eloise sighed. When Athena left her, she vowed to become more important than her and she searched far and wide for a source or an answer to her problems. Finally she reached a wagon with a little old lady who was selling expensive and wondrous items in exchange for precious things.
There the little old lady offered her three things: a magic ball which offered her to see into the future for a few seconds each day, a cloak when worn allowed you to become immortal, and a magic mirror which gave you answers to any question you wanted and it was also a source of a reflection upon yourself.
This mirror is exactly what Eloise purchased and that's when Eloise realised the little old lady, wasn't really a little old lady. She was a witch. A witch of devious trades. A nasty witch. A trickster. A naughty, little greedy guts. She offered the magic mirror in exchange for one thing: Eloise's humanity.
There it consumed her. Eloise became a witch of herself, inherited powers from the beyond and learned things she would have never imagined. Slowed ageing became one of them, but she still kept her regal looks and body wise too.
She lost all of her beautiful brown hair as a result and so she wore a cloak hood with a large crown to hide the fact that she had none left. This might've seemed like a gift, but it was a curse. All feelings that she once had increased. And her hatred towards Snow, the Princess Snow White, daughter of her dead arch nemesis and her husband increased to a maximum.
She wanted Snow White dead.
Dead as a door nail.
And this mirror would help her achieve it. As she looked into the mirror with pure despite in her eyes, Eloise cackled, "Mirror, Mirror on the Wall. Who is the fairest of them all?"
