The ferocious Captain Hook, you know today, the Captain of the Jolly Roger, and scary pirate of the Seven Seas of Neverland was much different now to then when he was only a young lad. When Captain Hook started, he was a lost boy. Yes, Captain Hook was indeed a lost boy. And his name wasn't Captain Hook. His name was James. The hook part comes a little later. You'll understand. Now.. let us begin the tale of this poor unfortunate soul.

****

James was quite tall when he was a young boy. His brother always wanted to be taller like him when instead he was the runt of the litter and he was the smallest; his name was Roger. But ever since he was a strapping young bloke, he'd always had the looks and the mermaids had it out for him. But when he grew up, (which he promised that he would never do to Peter Pan), he became even more handsome then expected.

He was 6 foot tall and had a skin tone the colour of the rich earth. Now he had a chiseled jaw that any fair lady would like to admire and hazel eyes that anybody that could fall in love with. James was masculine without being a body builder as he had a sizzling hot body, with a six pack leading across from a strong back and the rest was pure imagination. He was every woman's fantasy.

When he was young, James was kind, and thoughtful which seemed like all he was ever going to be. But now, he was so much more than that. James was a true gentlemen, intelligent and was incredibly hard working on the hunt searching for gold and treasure.

And he was ruthless, boy, he was truely ruthless. But let's go back to when it all began, when we meet the boy named James, and his sickly brother, Roger. "Pan!" called James loudly. Peter Pan, his best friend had left earlier that morning to go and say hello to the mermaids swimming in the pools, and resting in the rock pools.

"Don't worry about it, J-James." croaked out his younger brother, Roger. Roger was only about eleven years old and James was about fourteen. Roger had been diagnosed with a deadly sickness called acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.

"No, it's not okay. Pan should be back with the berries meant to heal you, and now he's out there frolicking around with freaking mermaids. God! He's got to learn something. There's responsibility with certain things. Like your berries, Roger." groaned James, "He's got to learn to grow up-"

"What did you say?"

Shoot.

Peter Pan.
